Does anyone know how to make flipping avatars?

I've seen people with avatars that flip back and forth. I was wondering if someone could teach me how to do that in Photoshop CS3 or do it for me. I want to make a flipping avatar out of my current avatar and this:

From what I know , you aren't going to do it in photoshop . You have to use other programs , photoshop I don't think is capable of animating gifs . You can make the frames in photoshop , but you will have to put them together with another program .

indeed... cause i know a guy who knows a guys who's brother's wife knows, that happens to know a guy who did ounce flip avatars

he told me what program he used... i just played with it till i figured how to use it, i quit cause the timing thing took to long to figure... plus request where a pain for them

Yea CD taught me aswell. But like he said it became to much of a pain. Plus requests always came in for those dag on things.

Yeah i hate that too. There is another way to do this with out the quality distruction but it only works for the defualt forum view and it would take forever and a day to find the intructions or better said formula in the deviant thread. Its lost in the pages there. One of these days i need to find it cuz it took close to six month to master everytime i think about that request it drives me made

yeh i like to learn stuff for myself also so i dont have to ask. i have tons and tons of art programs but what program will make it do that?

I have a friend whos a freelance artist and makes music as well and always has a good art program to give me if i want it. Just tell me the program and i will ask em. Hell he might even know how to do that "Flip" effect also....

I like learning new stuff dealing with art programs...

for my technique you need after effect cs and higher.

CD uses a different program you got to ask him.

I can give you direction on how to do it but if you dont know the program and mess up i  probably  wont be able to help you problem solve because it too complex

ah ok. hmm i gotta ask my boi if he has that program when i get in contact with em again. and yeh ill ask CD...
well he should be helping with Xp on Flipping my avatar around.....that will be later though..

i just wanna learn for myself so i dont have to bug u cats again. i like to learn so ill look u up again when its time for tips
