I'm slowly moving along with Snakeman's sprites.  I'm pleading the quality of quantity line with Snakeman since he's very detailed.   ;*))
I had some time to start adding some stuff to the template which made me finish a bunch of un finished stuff and effects.
Enjoy.

Great work as usual, laspacho. I've spotted some basic moves that differentiate Snake Man from Mega Man, which is good. I especially like how he swings his arm cannon like a baseball bat.

So, no intro for him yet, huh? :| Ah well, I'll be patient. ;)

I'm glad to hear that you're taking the "quality over quantity" route. If there's one thing that I like very much, it's seeing things that have been given a lot of care and detail into them. "Doing it for the art", as it is referred to on TV Tropes.

Two intros are done at the moment, the teleport in and the one shown in the gif where his hand changes to the arm cannon.   ;D
Actually all of Snakeman's attacks so far are are different then Megaman...  The arm cannon as a baseball bat took so long to make.   :cool

Ahh, I see.

Since he, according to some info I've seen, prefers to chase down and corner his opponent, I assume that his moveset reflects that, yes?

By the way, in case you want to know, he is very prudent, yet very tenacious. >:D

I have a few ideas in mind for moves and a dash forward.  I'll probably think up some more moves once the basics are completed.

That's good. Good luck with that. ^^(PM)^

By the way, let's not forget a special intro against Toad Man! ;*))

From what I see that you have done that is all quality work. Snakeman is one of the tougher robot masters, but you are doing a great job  =D>

Looks good (as usual).

Just take your time with the crawling. The results will be much better for it.

Also, Apocalypse's Tengu Man seems to be up there...;*))

for the crawl why not try to have him morph into a bigger more modified version of the snakes he shoots out. I know he never did that b but its something totally new. You just have him slither.

Actually, I think that Laspacho is trying to emulate this picture:

Personally, I think that would be a lot cooler than the snake-morph idea.  That would make him to be more of a joke character IMHO...

Now I see. I think it would be better to use the slither as an evade move, kinda like the one Akuma uses in Street fighter, instead of the Snake morph. He is already a snake with legs. Why get rid of that?

Go with what you feel. I just wanted something new that almost no character has. He could defintely use a cobra stare special move. A defense move that he could transform into a cobra and turn his back (kind of like arbok from pokemon with the designs of your choice) and if attacked physically they get stunned. And you can even have different variations where one can have him start off the same way and if attacked physically he could slither behind the opponent, next version he could do as I stated above where the opponent gets stunned if attacked physically, and last variation he could actually use it as an attack and stun opponents who either stare at it without blocking (up to a certain  distance because you don't want across screen cheapness). Weaknesses to the last variation include vunerability to physical and projectile attacks but the possibility of adding a few startup invincibility frames might not make it such a bad idea. Sorry for the morph ideas. I just got a ot of thoughts and ideas right now.

I personally think his evasion move should be him jumping into the ground and then coming out somewhere else like he did in Super Adventure Rockman.
