To be saying comments like that you must either:

Havent played eternal champions before.

Havent downloaded the character.

The sprites are like that but they animate differently to other characters:





Also check out other videos of the characters fighting in the orignal game

Listen, I'm not trying to diss your character here. The coding looks fine.
I'm sure someone who plays eternal champion will love the character, but I don't, and even after looking at that video I still think the sprites look gross xD
Kinda reminds me of some characters that you see, when they have a palette problem. They do an attack then their colors get distorted and they turn pixel-y?

but that kinda defeats the object if i were to give it other sprites because then it wouldnt be like the original it would be something else...

If you didnt like the original sprites you wont like these either, just like with everything else.

Anyway i bascially posted here to announce that the character is released no one has to post anything if they dont want to.

I just wanted to let ppl know.

hmm i never like eternal champions myself but for what your stuff is to the original is really good also i like that stage aswell good job

You seem to be taking it that way is all, sorry.
I wasn't suggesting you change the character, just stating why I personally don't like it. Nothing against you even in the slightest, I guess I'm picking at whatever game they came from really =P
If you just wanted to let people know, and nothing more...wouldn't you have nor responded to me then?
Anyways, nice stage, hope to see more releases from you sometime soon.

AI Updated
fireball gives opponent more recovery time
Resurrection Works in more throws
One of the strong punches was not meant to be able to hit the opponent in mid-air (purple form)

I was a fan of eternal champions. Definately the roughest looking sprites of the old games. That said I dont see why anyone would bother posting if they don't like the game.

I can't exactly remember where I saw them, but I think there are some already released...I downloaded them once before, but deleted them because they kept crashing Mugen and I couldn't figure out why.

More Updates!


Update 16/08/09
---------------
-Added Alternate/easier AI (you can still use the harder AI if you wish)
-Fixed a bug where EC used to turn as he was going up from the wave attack
-New alternate Palletes
-the punch that i thought was not meant to connect with opponents in mid air actually does
-Discovered that characters standing attacks that connect with midair opponents should not hit opponent again in mid air while the opponent is in a get hit state

Will the Eternal hampion interact with his own stage like he does in the actual game? (As each mode is beaten, he goes into the pictures, and after he is beaten the final time, heblows through a wall.)

Hasnt been implemented yet due to how would have to be done (mugen stage interaction is always tricky to do), some how you would have to think about putting the opponent into a custom state (so that he isnt screenbound) so that the character can move around the stage to pick the pictures, maybe one day i might be able to figure out how thats done but thats highly unlikely for now.

-Also in total there are 3 different AI levels to choose from, adjust the .def file accordingly
