now we need Venom and my fave supervillain in marvel will be done.

Freeverse is poetry, just not set into standards like couplets and such.

There's a difference between:

Couplet
Flaming energy escaping your fists
Whether you win or lose depends if you hit or miss

and
Freeverse
As your internal flow of chi is rerouted towards your fists in an explosion meant to cinch your victory, the only word that you can bring yourself to escape your mouth is: HADOUKEN!

See the difference?
Both are poetry, yet both give you different feelings when you read it. Just my $0.02

Nah, I'm pretty sure poetry has conventions that are supposed to be followed. That's why they teach it in school. You can't really just make up your own rules for stuff I don't think.

Form

Poetic form is more flexible in modernist and post-modernist poetry, and continues to be less structured than in previous literary eras. Magneto

Now that the human terror is over,
Mutants will live free from any bother.
The mutantkind is triumphant once more,
They will own this planet forevermore.

It was not an easy battle at all,
Many million lives were lost overall.
But their sacrifice will not be to naught,
Now starts an era of peace and comfort.

Magneto led his race to victory,
They’ll remember it, till eternity.
Because of one brave Homo Superior,
Vile scourge was wiped out from Earth’s exterior.

Hello! I just made this for Venom's intro.
 
Venom

Once just an ordinary reporter,
Now, an absolutely mighty brawler.
He will do all to make Peter Parker,
See that he has power like no other.

Oh, yes, sometimes he does good to people,
He even helped save planet Earth before.
But he’ll surely come back to his old self,
Looking for trouble and hunting for prey.

After years of being somewhat behaved,
He resurfaces with fury so grave.
When this dire steamroller comes out to play,
Step aside, and do not stand in his way!
 
And this one is for Punisher...
 
Punisher

His whole family was brutally slain,
His misery almost drove him insane.
He sought for justice and he did get it,
Though he had to put it in his own fists.

Now, he seeks to punish all sinful men,
None can escape his fearsome, vengeful hands.
Do not dare do wicked, oh, you people,
He crushes evil like mashed potatoes.

Join the righteous and follow their good ways,
Fight the unholy and be strong always.
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
The punisher is always watching you.

I'm not really sure if this poem would fit here. I made this while thinking of a beautiful woman. Maybe you could use this as an intro for your favorite girl character.

That Girl

Long ago, my life was dull and boring
Till I saw this lovely lady smiling
From the clouds up high, is her origin
She caught my heart with her graceful dancing

Never have I seen a lass so pretty
She is so neat and so very tidy
I bet she never ever acts silly
That girl whose beauty is high and mighty

She is the girl of my dreams, I admit
She’s unlike any dame I’ll ever meet
I’d court that princess and shall never quit
I’ll get her love and sweep her off her feet

I hope this poem is not that bad.
