I don't think it's too buff. Nightwing should be just a tad leaner than Batman, but not much.

This may be the wrong section to post in? Isn't this only for IMT DC WIPs? Maybe it should be moved to the MUGEN Wips section?

I believe ALEX has a point, from what I've been told, this Nightwing will be in CVG's "Legend" project. If he is to be an exclusive there, this should be moved to the reg W.I.P.

I hate to say exclusive since Jmaxx's Nightwing Wip is his character. He may want to use him somewhere else down the line. But yeah Nightwing is part of Legends project so we wouldn't want to hinder IMT from finding their Nightwing.

Well I phrase it that way because the case could end up like Apoc's Punisher. There's our IMT version, and the there will be a DCvM version as well. But yeah, it'd be J's decision if he wants Nightwing on board the project here.

Oh my fault I didnt realize it was IMT only. I thought it was for when someone was doing DC characters.

No he doesnt  he just told me about the twirling baton. He didnt make the sprite.

If IMT want to move this they can. I just posted it here because I saw DC Universe and I thought thats were we suppose to post DC chacters. if they do move it I just want to be told were.

Im guessing a Fei-long and SpiderMan edit, the legs look buffed out from spiderman and i totaly reconize that arm the twirling stick is in from Fei-Long

Actually everything is from Cyclops. I just moved some things around. The head is from Ken from CVS and the hair is from Strider with some altering. Fei-Long huh. You just gave me some ideas.

your making me slip up on identafying bases.
Yeah you might find some stuff in Fei-Long  you like, with a small bit of beefing up probbly to match.
Only his upper torso is any good for editing though unless you can draw the mussles over his legs coverd in those big pants.

Shading;

-You seem to be pillow-shading. Try to observe other sprites to see how light falls down on it....
-There seems to be no distinction between the abdominals and the crotch (i.e. a line)

Yeah I know about the pillow shading it's how I get started on the sprites. Dont worry they're all going to go.

I disagree with it being to buff he's pretty cut up in the comics only being a little smaller than batman. As more of an acrobat but you can really see all the muscle under his suit.

I havent seen his can you tell where I can find it? Also I was planning on just using parts of him nit the whole body.

HUGE Nightwing fan!

The sprite you've produced looks like it'd be well used as a victory pose rather than a fighting stance.  It would seem Batman would have trained him better to leave the showing off until a battle is finished.  Could also be used as a good taunt or something.

I'm more interested in what kind of special moves and hypers are being considered.

I hope that this is a work of passion.  Thanks for working on a new and improved version of this character for Mugen.

And BTW, how lucky is this person's son?  Getting to help develop Mugen chars?  Awesome!!!!!

Wow! What a tlaneted and inspiring 7 seven year-old you have. You must be gratefully proud of him. Nightwing looks flawless. He should definitely be a great addition to the Mugen roster.

What do you mean by copyright infringment? And once again dont worry about the shading i'm going to change it. I just do it like this to get me started. I'll have the finish product later this week.

Here's an update. Sorry it took so long Bane's holding me up. I touched up the muscle detail and made his baton turn only one instead of 2 times. His timeing is still al ittle off but for right now I'll just keep it as is. I'm tired  been doing this all night  :'(  going to go to sleep.  I'll be posting some of his moves later.
