Alright guys, can someone tell me what the heck this is? It's not a tubifex which is a mass combining of worms that live in polluted waters. It looks way different. This thing has intelligence too. Just look how it puffs up when the camera gets too close. I think it's a damn symbiote pod. Just watch how the entire thing moves all at once. It's disgusting, and it lives in the cracks of our sewers. It must be a combination of poop, pee, drugs, other chemicals, and whatever other nasty crap people flush away, that now has been given life for some odd reason.

This is what they are saying they think it is, but there is a HUGE difference in the two in my opinion. One, there aren't any worms on those things, and those things weren't in the sand at all. They're both disgusting though, that's for sure.

Probably something for a movie, ide guess sector 6 or whatever it is about alien imagants, and those aliens got tentical mouth faces like a mind flayer or cuthulu

Its not in a body, its a sewer, theres running watter, concreate walls/tube.

probably some growth inside an animal or something. I see no proof of sewage piping. just water floating by. maybe if they pulled it out of a toilet or sink on the vid I wouldnt be so skeptical.

Actually I can see the resemblance. They do look like the symbiote pods from web of shadows.

As for what I think of this. My guess, either alien eggs, or demon/monster eggs.

Idk, they just look like eggs to me.

Anyone else here played Duke Nukem 3D? That...thing reminds me of the eggs that the Protozoid Slimers pop out of. My advice to whoever got that on film: THROW A GRENADE DOWN THERE AND ANNIHILATE THAT THING, WHATEVER IT IS!!!!

Time for IMT's resident biologist to chime in

I can see why people might think that it's a ball of Tubifex or blackworms, because that is kind of what those worms look like when you take them out of the water. Problem is, Tubifex would never form into a ball naturally - that only happens when people scoop up a bunch of them and rinse them off. What's more is that a ball of worms couldn't support itself like that, and certainly couldn't attach itself to the walls. The worms would all fall into the water.

These things look like they are growing out of the cracks in the pipe (meaning they came from the surrounding soil), and the way the pipe walls around these masses are slimy and discolored makes it looks like they've been there for awhile. If I understand correctly, this is a six-inch wide pipe, which would make these things out to be about an inch or two across.

My best guess is that these things might not be animals at all, but maybe some unknown type of highly motile plasmodial slime mold (a type of fungus that can crawl around like a big amoeba). There's not a whole lot known about "ooze"-type slime molds, but that looks to me like a spot that would be perfect for fungus to grow.

The video is a little too grainy to be sure what they are, and there will probably be no way for anyone to know until someone goes and scoops one of those things up. Most scientist agree that we only know of about 20% of the life forms currently on this planet, and new things are being discovered pretty much daily. Hell, I myself discovered some sort of blob-like creature that no one has been able to identify yet. I had even shown some pictures I had taken to a world-renowned invertebrate zoologist, and his response was simply "Neat critter".

Like somebody else said, there's a lot of weird s*** out there. Some of it is more revolting than others.
