Darth Vader_wip (update 09/08/09)

my wip DARTH VADER



alright this wip has not treated me well, i actually began this a while back, i had all the basic moves done when a crash made me lose pretty much everything i had,i had decided to drop it, but my spirits are up so here we go again, so cross your fingers   (i have 3 backups,but you never know  ). work is very slow but moving forward quite nicely.

-hi- res character.
-very smooth anims.
-classic vader moves.

the light saber will be added last,the one on the screenshot it's just used as a mark for me.

 

-completed new standing anim (light saber will be added later what you see in video is just a test)



- some punches preview.



these are some of the basic moves i have done, i will upload more later.(lightsaber not included  )

I think that voice was done by the guy who voices chad vader form blame socitiy films, he was also the vader voice in force unleashed.

i agree thats why i changed it, he now has twice the muscle mass than this one,i will post later.

ok here sum ideas i thought of for him coz being a fan of star wars gota have a fabolous character out of old darth here

1) force strangle (like sc4 and he says "il make u suffer")
2) force throw like kenshis throw opponent to other side of screen
3) force levitate like kenshis then throws opponent on ground
4) saber throw where he throws his saber towards opponent and it comes back to him
5) force super jump
6) intro wiv darth sidious?
7) storm strooper helper
8 ) light saber combo
9) perhaps he could have force lightning come out his fingers( coz no one is gona make his master)
10) death star beam calls in help from the death star and a massive beam sweeps across the screen
11) one attack with duel light sabres (hyper or special move)
12) force hold (think of scopions spear attack but without spear) and he says "come here"
13) air light sabrethrow (while in air he can throw his light sabre)
14) TIE fighter or TIE bomber attack
15) quotes ("come to the darkside" "you will never leave alive" "im your dad B1T?H" (ignore the last)

Well for the stance, the lightsaber needs to be more red, and his cape usually drapes over his shoulders. Here's a drawing I found to show you what I mean.

yeah well like i said in the 1st post, that light saber is not the one in the final version,as for the cape if i have the cape drape over his shoulders he is going to be released in like 3 years

I think the new one doesn't look as smooth as the old one & the lightsaber doesn't glow in either ( I know I read the first post )

You should add some lighting effects or animated the lights on his chest plate? (Weren't they animated?)

heres a video sample of vader standing anim. i change is look again, i went with a lighter color, you couldn't see the figure with the black palette, and added some texture to the suit,the light saber you see briefly in there will be the look of the final saber,properly animated of course, i just put that in there so you guys could have an idea of how it will look. later


i have some basics done but is way too late to make a video now, so i will uploaded something next week...probably.
