Color Loss at conversion

hey i've been making some sprites and want to animate them and show them off here but when i conert them on fighter factory I lose so much color. I saved the images as both pcx and bmp before i put them in FF. thanx for the help

are you using the extra buttons in fighter factory to optomize that i hear people doing?
I dont, Im sure you've seen the video where i show how i convert pcx files for mugen use, i dont experence any color loss. You are making sure they are already 256 color images that are indexed beforehand right?

Uh.... can you explain that a little more but I think that I know the what the problem is that when i put my sprites in it say."This image can be visualized incorrectly because does not exist none palette applied to the SFF.
 How do i fix that?

Oh that error.
That happens when you add an image to fighter factory and its not on the palette for the image and you probably hit shared palette.

You just need to convert the images probably and build a palette that has all the colors in it for all ur sprites.  My suggestion would be to add all your images to a sprite sheet and turn that into a 256 indexed pcx file and convert it and make a palette.
