Well, now that I know Poison's sprites are open source (wish I'd of known this much sooner ), I will be replacing Ivy's sprites in Harley with new ones. I haven't decided which look to go with yet, but here are the options.



Let me know what you guys think. I'm leaning towards anything with the human skin tone.

For colors: is there not enough room in Harley's palettes to add Ivy?

Actually, that was discussed already and I think there should be room for her colors as well. Right now Harley has her palette all messed up though, so I'll be re-adding everything at the end with the proper palette.

Another small vid, this time of her updated hyper only. ((It won't show the damn video on here.. So, I just put the link to it.. ))

The quality's not so great, like the last one and it's only 15 seconds long with no sound ('cause 15 second vids don't need it  ). Oh, and it's sped up some. It was either gonna be slow (thanks to SnagIt) or a little fast (thanks to Windows Media Player). I chose fast.

Awesome job man, the hyper is cool especially when she uses the opponent as a fall breaker. I look forward to this char for sure and i noticed the sprite upgrade even though you can hardly tell due to quality loss

Thanks. At first I tried her coming down on them like a cross-body splash but it didn't look so right, so I let her ride the opponent down instead. Still sucks that I can't get the quality good on the vids.. SnagIt slows everything down when it records, so I then need to take it into Windows Movie Maker to speed it up some (not to mention edit it) so it's not so slow.. But in turn, when I save it from there, it messes with the quality. So, either way, it's a lose-lose situation.

Take the resolution of your mugen down when recording . It will be smaller on your screen , but you won't get the lag with snag it .

I did take the resolution of Mugen down, twice. It still lags on me most of the time, very rarely it doesn't so much.

So, aside from what's shown, she'll a cork and "fake" bang gun attacks as well (crouching versions of all gun attacks also). A special with the Hyenas, Ivy as a striker, a mallet attack in the air, an Amalgam, and a few other surprises.

Oh, that's no prob, man. I knew it was still missing the diamonds and was gonna add those later and change some colors around a bit. I'm even redoing her Amalgam pic using a different base for it. I liked the edit I did over Roll's though, so I may just try to edit that one some more and resize it (it's around twice the size it should be, so I did a lot of extra work I didn't need to ). Either way, it's all good.

I think if Harl's in the Dark Knight, it'll only be as Dr. Harleen Quinnzel, with it leading up to her maybe being Harley Quinn in the next film. Would be really cool to see Ivy/Harl as a duo in the next film, but then Batman wouldn't be able to have some brawl with the main villains at the end. Well, he could, but him beating up Ivy/Harl just wouldn't seem too right.
