Yeah, this is the best Guile, MvC styled that's out there. I know when he's finished, it'll be all good. Guile and Charlie. Great job RedHot. Looking forward to your Gambit s well, and Captain Commando.  :)

EDIT:

Forgot to speak on some things..... :P

-Many people have already said this. His Hyper BGs last too long for all his Hyper moves to me.

-Can you get rid of the 'Press Start Button' wording above your lifebar? It's pretty annoying.....

-Maybe you can speed him up a bit. He moves a little slower in my opinion.

Other than that, he is great. Good job.

Thanks man.
- yeah, I´m fixing this
- But all the MvC2 chars have the Press Start Button!!  :(
- He is like that, he movements are slowly (like in MvC2).

Well, maybe you have heard this before, but your Guile is excelent, some minor details needed, but in overall is pretty balanced.

Maybe some people feel him "slow" but actually you got to allways follow the MVC2 starndard, with this I mean, that normal speed in MUGEN = normal speed in MVc2, any higher level can be incorrect.
Just as tip, if you need Guile (you folks) to be faster, change the speed value in mugen options, here the table of equivalencies:

MUGEN ------ Marvel vs Capcom 2
Normal    =     Normal
Fast2     =     Turbo
Fast3     =     Turbo 2

Set mugen acording to this values to get desired speed acording to original games.

Congratuñations man, and congratulations for the proyect, looks very good :)

See ya!!!! :D
This is the era in which we will see reason triumphing against brutality... May be better to open your mind to the future.

Yeah..... I know how to change the speed values of mugen...... It was just an suggestion on increasing Guile's speed a bit. Vyn's Evil Ryu and Akuma move really well and fluid. They also have good speed, without having to increase everyone's speed in mugen through that method. Compared to those two, along with Vyn's Hayato, it's pretty hard to keep up with them as Guile.

Raising the speed values of the mugen program as a whole wouldn't solve this, because everyone would get a speed increase, making Akuma and Evil Ryu a lot faster than normal. The 'Press Start Button' wording actually covers a lifebar on simul mode in my mugen. I have the BrokenMugen sp, and it will completely cover the top lifebar, so you can't see it.

I'm not saying make him super fast or anything, just a suggestion to increase his speed a bit as an individual, so he can be better suited to keep up with faster chars. He's a great char, RedHot did an outstanding job. I'm just trying to give a few suggestions, not telling him how to do things.

Actually, I own the entire MvC:EoH roster with this Guile, even Hydron. I think more speed would just not be right.

Everyone also needs to remember that Capcom purposely set specific characters faster than others, some normal speed, and others slower. Each one has their "specialty" & "weakness" in dealing with others. Guile has never been a fast character, but once you understand how to use him it's not hard to win. REDHOT's Guile is very solid and I find him to move pretty smooth. Could he use a boost in certain areas? Perhaps, but it would be merely a cosmetic feel as opposed to improving his gameplay.

As for Vyn's characters, yes they tend to be faster, mainly based on Vyn's preferences and coding style. I find that they're so more due to their AI; when you actually play with them they don't feel as fast as when the cpu takes control of them.  Just my opinion.

No, not really, in reference to Akuma and Evil Ryu being faster when controlled by their AI. True, they react quicker than a human player, but speed isn't compromised whether it's a human player or the AI.

You are right about character traits however, and Guile was never a fast character. More of a defensive styled character. I'm not saying that Guile isn't a solid char, because he is. Truth be told, he doesn't need a speed boost, I was just looking at it from a different perspective. He's all good on the speed and all. Still not too fond of the "Press Start Button" wording on the screen though.  :P

Not that big of a deal though. Anyway, keep up the good work RedHot.

Great Guile. I think it's almost MvC2 perfect. However I have 2 problems.

1. The Summersault Strike supermove does too little damage. I'm sure it does way more damage in MvC2.

2. The select icon looks a little wierd. It's cut off at a bunch of different places.

Other than that I think it's a perfect conversion.

just been playing with your guile in the eoh and i can see you sort of fixed that double sweep thing. the reason i say sort of is because when you do the double sweep and the second one hits the opponents body doesnt get of the ground high enough for them to receive all the hits of the his d, b, kk hyper. but i am happy with its current state because it works. but i think it needs a little more tweaking. other than that guile is as flawless as he was in mvc2
