2 things I don't like about it so far...

1. How close the D-Pad and the analog are...
2. 40% slimmER? WTF... This must not be that durable then... wow... I think the only reason it's slimmer is because of the UMD reduction...

Hopefully this one will actually fricken have java for the internet... If I can't play youtube vids on it like I can't on the 2000, then I'm most likely not buying it...

The good thing about it is no more UMD... Once I get the games then I can just save them on the PSP Go, in case I delete them accidentally... that's pretty cool...

That information is not leaked, it part of a "magazine" subscription called Qore from the PSN network. They could of had two analog sticks but I'm pretty sure the reason why is game compatibility reasons. Also you don't need Java to watch youtube videos.

Well.. idk.. All I know is I can't even watch any youtube or gametrailer videos on my PSP.. I think it's the lack of updated internet flash players.. I don't know if I can get them without modding my PSP...

What`s bugging me is that Sony is releasing this WAY too soon, it will live alongside the 3000 model, but the UMDs will be scrapped eventually and the current 3000 users will be left out and have a nice big paperweight as a memoir of the $200+ you spent on it >_>

I'm sure they'll add some kind of support to it... maybe they'll make it so you can take your game and the case to say.. Gamecrazy or Gamestop, they can scan it.. give you a code (and the game back, of course), and you can dl it from the Playstation Network.. that would be a cool idea...

Would be great, but I doubt Sony would go for this since, like Nintendo is now, love : $$$$$
NINTENDO has been sucking so much now

I might get one when i have the money cuz I need a psp for the new MGS game, and FF Dissidia.

Also smaller stuff is usually harder to break cuz they weigh less. Part of the whole bigger they are, harder they fall deal. Unless you're trying to manually destroy the system with a sledge hammer or something.

Well they did say that it has the same operating system as the PSP so it is possible that it could be easily hacked.

The best PSP for modding so far would be the 2000, probably.. I have 2000 and when I get the PSP Go, I just might mod my PSP 2000 because I'll have 2... lol...

Yea the PSP-2000 is the best. And the PSP-3000 sucks I have all 3

Its not the Firmware that I am worrying about I am worrying about the battery.

Well atice wether you get the new PSP go or still use the PSP 2000 I would still mod the thing. Its amazing what a PSP can do with a good custom firmware. Mine was modded the day I bought it. I just have to replace the screen now on mine because heat shattered it while I was in a grocery store a year ago. So  my PSP is collecting dust till I can scrounge enough money to buy a new LCD screen. Plus I may have to buy a cheap one from a pawn shop and replace the buttons because I think mine has warped alittle with the heat. IDK won't disassemble it till I got the screen.

Man I would be pissed if I was you, but why don't you just hook your PSP up to your television you do know that you can play games that way also?

I hear ya.. but I'd rather wait to get the PSP Go.. because then the PSP 2000 would be completely useless other than to play UMDs... So i'll just mod the PSP 2000 and if it breaks I'll have another one... so... yeah... ;*))

Actually, with the content from PSN cracked, the PSPGo! being the digital piece of **** it is, will be only usefull to those who buy stuff from the PSN.
Mot of the stuff on PSN is downloadable via torrent now... I`d keep my PSP handy for a while longer

I know.. I meant I'd mod the 2000 when I have the Go! as well... lol...

I'm only waiting for that because the PSP games are only going to be available either through torrent or download and some of the new psp go! games might not be compatible for the 2000...

They never said that the games will be different. They will still sell the UMD games and provide it in a download form too.

Actually I read that the PSP Go! will have a separate library of games on some ocasions like the soon to be released Fate/Unlimited Codes which CAPCOM said will be digital download only.

Still it is just the same system without the UMD drive. You can log into the PSN on your PSP and download the file using the internet.

Maybe it won`t run, maybe the PSP Go! has a certain license in order to play the content, meaning that old PSP 3000 and below won`t have the license and thus won`t play them. IGN said that maybe the PSPGo! will have it`s own library of games some of which will be exclusive. I think the only way PSP 3000 (-and below) will be able to play this content is with some new CFW.

If they said that the PSP Go would be a major letdown. I'd want the PSP Go because I got a ton of music and video I would want to watch. It'd be like the PS3 for me just more portable.
