Once you get past the cheap special effects, goofy-looking monster designs, giant robot and cliche plot, it's not so bad.

Plus, they got the wall-crawling part right.

You probably dont remember me saying this but Stan Lee has had his hands in a lot of japanese spin offs like x-men and spiderman. I heard somewhere that he even help to develop or fund Kamen Rider.

One of the earlyest versions of the super sentai team searies that became power rangers over here was actualy based on the avengers, but they changed things arround.

Japanese spiderman is weird, he gets his power from aliens who give him a mech that isnt even spider themed, man they should have atleast made the mech spider themed.

But the web shooter on the outside was what inspired that idea to be used by the scarlet spider and ben's use of the spiderman name.

Isnt there a Japanese Spiderman mugen character? If not there should be.

Every cultures got there own thing. Some people think they need to change things for it to appeal to those cultures so a bunch of great things get lost in transition. What foos they are.
