Tatsunoko VS Capcom= ON HOLD

Well, I do love the game Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Epic Fighting Game, could have added more characters but anyways yeah.
Im Starting a Full Mugen game which is Tatsunoko Vs Capcom:Cross Generation. If You would like to help with this project let me know.


~Game Play~
At Least 80% Accurate to the TvC Style Game Play, And All their "Variable Attacks"
Each Character will consist of 3 Supers.
Most Characters will probally be edited from other characters WITH permission to do so.
Maybe thoght Maybe >..>

~Screen Pack Idea~
No Screen Shot yet but its gonna be pretty accurate to the TvC menu, select, & option screens.

Props to Doom for making the Life Bars Open source ( I had to create most of the font sprites though)

Good idea, but you can`t do it with the current Tatsunoko sprites, they aren`t fit for this type of gameplay.
-Ryu need conversion to TvC style

---In order to start this also, AND to use these chars, you need permission, this isn`t a compilation, this is a project, and permission is needed  (:|

---All characters need to be remade, and styled for this gameplay, just adding random chars in it will make it unbalanced

Anyways, like I said, great idea  :D
Hoping this comes to fruition  ::salute::

yah, the characters should be remade... and i can see tatsukono chars are skinny...
they cant stand a chance for capcom sprites if you notice...

yeah, are skinny, but if u notice the SF3 Ryu are the most large Ryu made in this far, if it take the CvS ryu i think is much better fit...

for V-Joe me and Dante are working on... Check the w.i.p. ;)

yeah, are skinny, but if u notice the SF3 Ryu are the most large Ryu made in this far, if it take the CvS ryu i think is much better fit...

Use Gundam/transformers sprites for Gold =) with a bit of sprite edit

Sounds like a fun project. I the difference between the SF3 sprites and Tatsunoku characters could be reduced a little bit more by using Street Fighter Alpha Sprites and also add MaranCV's resized Street Fighter Alpha Alex sprites as well.

I agree.  As much as I love SF3 sprites, MvC or CvS would be a better choice.

Well i did edit the Tatsunoko character sprites they have been increased by 10 Pixels.

If anyone wants to pinch in some ideas on which character sprites should be edited from .

personally think: for chunli i take the CvS2 one, is like the SF3's but Thinner, for Ryu i think u can use the SF3's but working on him, tryng to resize him... for alex like Acey said the Cvs version is good.

Saki u can take a base by is helper apparition in Marvel vs Capcom1. for Joe take mine stance Gif for now, for rock here in the release char i have seen a Helmetless Rockman not bad at all, take those (with permission ;)) and make him a little squared. For Soki try use some char from Basara, Last blade (maybe Kaede) and rework on his armor (maybe take bishamon and do a fusion eheh). :)



P.S. Casshern don't have a wolf???

Kool Thanks for the resources, much is appreciated. But i think SF3 Chun-Li & Alex is fine i dont want them to seem all too small. cuhz Alex is Big >.> as for Chun-Li i might have second thoughts on that

lol Well Alex can Take Down the Hulk! >:(  But i think SF3 sprites is pretty good for this project  ( in the street fighter Category)

Ryu, Alex, & Chunli are the only chars fit to be in the game already cause of the similar sprites to the game. As for the Tatsunoko side, all new sprites have tobe made in order to be compatible with the Capcom side. Nice job though!!!
