mvc raiden(from mortal kombat)

you know raiden right?! well just in case you done look at this

im gonna try can make mk1 style of him

you need to work a bit on the hat design, right now it looks like a bugle (you know one of those snack items)

Also i dont think his pants should be black, if you sprite them so they are say, blue or brown you can have palettes where his pants are white and black, cuz right now i cannot see any detale in his legs cuz its so dark.

1. im gonna let the pants black so its a mix of mk1 and mk2
2. the hat was the best i could do i cant change it now

Well i was saying if you make the pants as you sprite them not black, but not white like the top, then when your done you can make a mk1 palette then an mk2 palette so you'll have white pants and black pants on the same character.

Raiden's hat should be easy to sprite . You don't even have to make different veiws . For the most part whichever way he turns his head , the hat looks the same

His hat def needs work, plus his pants need to be white if you want to match his MK1/MK2 look, which I hope you do.

Come to think of it . I don't think i ever saw Raiden with black pants . It would be better to make them white . Should just be a quick palette edit , then copy & paste on the sprites .

Stop acting like a child teeno. People are just giving criticism and it's to help improve your wip. If you expected everyone just to say OMG AWESOME!!!111, that's naive.

The hat does need to be changed. You don't even have to sprite it yourself. There are hats from other games you could use.

1. i dont expect for every one to go all this char is god kinda thing
2. yeah i can see that but if i change the color of the pants then it will match up with the middle thing that hangs down
3. on second thought its just gonna be a mk1 style sorry

With proper shading & outlining , the " loin cloth " will not blend in with the pants . it will be a little work . But worth it to make the character MK authentic

It's a good wip. about time i see a raiden in capcom style. 

Don't take it personal, but everybody here is just trying to help. I understand that you want raiden to go your way, but at least take some ideas.
