Here's my 1st contribution to Infinity's Release Party 2009. Both Psylocke and Jon Talbain
have received extensive updates, both visual and coding. Here's a small, condensed list
of what's been done:

PSYLOCKE
-Tweaked all moves & attacks in order to ensure balance and prevent infinites
-Fixed issue where shadow clones would be unaligned under certain conditions during
 Illusion
-Revamped triggers in cmd to make executing of moves much easier
-Redid Hyper initiation
-Tweaked AI (still nothing great)
-Added 6 new palettes and made them compatible to Concussion
-Revised Aerial Rave coding & jump attacks
-Tweaked MvC-related coding
-Reinstated Screenbound during Ninjutsu and tweaked triggers
-Fixed combo message issues

JON TALBAIN
-Recoded and tweaked Beast Cannon and Hyper Beast Cannon as well as added streak FX
-Revised Aerial Rave coding & tweaked jump attacks
-Tweaked MvC physics-related coding
-Redid Hyper initiation
-Recoded Hyper BG to be universal amongst most Hyper Combos
-Changed commands within both cmd types, while removing some commands from cmd
-Upgraded Wild Ride to 3 versions based on button pressed
-Tweaked and updated Mirage Body in relations to Billion Flicker and Wild Ride
-Added lower defense during Mirage Body
-Added increased damage for all throws during Mirage Body
-Tweaked clsn
-Various tweaks to all moves, especially to prevent infinites
-Fixed combo message issues

R@CE45 also was kind enough to whip up a new song track for Psylocke, which is a remix of her song in the old SNES game, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse. Although there is no new stage for her in the EOH project, you can get her MSH stage made by Inverse and use it for the new song track here: Shin Inverse's Hideout

Something I forgot to mention,the new streak sprites for Talbain's Beast Cannon were ripped by Bonzai, and can be found at <http://sdb.drshnaps.com/SpritesArcade.htm>. Tonight I will add credit to both Bonzai and R@ce45 in the readme, and reupload the files again.

It's nice for Psylocke to get her stage in EOH. :thumbsup: It looks really nice (even though it came from another game).

u know ill be testing lol.  downloaded it when it first appeared bu tdidnt post as i was on the run . i will make a video included in my other stuff in my testings thread

oh my gosh!!!! im not even half way done with the movelist yet but omg!!! dude u outdid yourself on this one seriously this gameplay is absolutely outstanding and the duck move after the hayate no jutsu omg. this psylocke is even better than capcoms very own by far. im sorry im so amazed right now, i cant find a thing wrong with her other than her throw can be linked up with lp for many hits but it stops after a certain amount but the damage is quite high. shes so technical and she has so many moves. on talbain though his throw to lp is still there also. for a suggestion i say make the opponent invincible after their throws so that they cant hit them unless they stay on the ground long enough for an OTG if thats possible. i see you cleaned up alot of his effects. he is extremely solid and i truthfully cant find a thing wrong with him as far as bugs go. man this too much. i wonder what my new favorite Kenji will be like. I know ur teasing by making me wait lol

EDIT: done testing and upon further review the lp thing isnt there anymore lol. that goes for both of the characters so in others words from a gameplay perspective these two characters are golden and perfect. u have fixed everything right now. i guess i cant provide problems. ill leave the code part up to ppl with more exp

Been off the Internet for awhile, so I haven't gotten a chance to check the thread. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

@Acey: Well, I see everyone getting better around me with spriting, coding, ideas, etc. , so I have to keep up some way or the other :lol:

@Excursion: Thanks again for getting my stuff on the server  :)

@Gaijin: Thanks for the kind words, but they can't be perfect. The LP thing I noticed before uploading, but didn't get a chance to fix it. Got your pm as well, so I'll look into what you mentioned.

@R@CE: Yo, we know you're busy. Don't get too worked up about it. If you can, talk to KudosForce through pm to resolve things.

A minor update will be made tomorrow in the form of a patch (mainly just for the readme, movelist),so you won't have to download the entire characters again. Oh and keep your eyes peeled, for another surprise on my end's coming up  ;*))

Sabaki: You have just saved me the time of trying to learn how to create MUGEN stuff myself. Seriously. If I was going to do it, a Next Dimension-inspired Psylocke was the first thing I was going to make!

Definitely the best IMT release so far. Totally took me by surprise, too.

hey man sabaki your characters are just awesome dude but i couldnt help but notice this lil flaw in talebains super jump spark its out of place

Updated the main files, as well as posted links to patch files for both characters. Small updates, so I suggest grabbing the patches if you downloaded yesterday instead of the main files. All links are in the first post.

so psylocke is great  :thumbsup:, and i don t have something to complain, just a suggestion:


this i would like to see this on her face when she changes side so this would made her a really different psylocke and add something new and amazing to her look.

Sabaki both chars small select portraits are wrong size; 26x17 instead of 25x25. Please correct.

Also, JTaliban's QTF P and QTB P Hypers do very, very little damage, while his QTF K and QTB K Specials have the damage OK.

its because his comboability is quite high and its more balanced than anything as far as damage goes unless you want someone to die in like 2 hypers. damage is where it should imo

@GoDzFiRe: Are you sure you're doing both moves correctly? QTF P and QTB P have to be extended by pressing the P buttons. Everything's explained in the movelist. As for the small portraits, I'll add new ones.

hi man ,hey you need to do a few fixes in psylocke ,first you have many sprites unused (thanks for the sprite set) and when psy makes any type of his blade move look poor animated and fail too fast to the ground.
i dont know how is the eoh fight system but this char need medicine

talbain need more exagerated moves,if eoh use things from mvc2 you need exagerate certain moves like two or three more punches on one of his hypers, then the fire wolf you can use the original image from darkstalkers but more colorated (red,orange,blue like fire)

remember the felicia sand attack from mvc2 is different for previous games (has two sand color) or his spin atack has more moves

morrigan soul eraser differ from mvc1 and mvc2 (in mvc2 bats change colors)

anakaris has alot of improvement in mvc2
