Hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up the Windows Vista screen. Now, Go to "Start Task Manager" and click on it. The "Task Manager" window should pop up. Next, go to "File" and click on "New Task (Run...)" and the "Create New Task" window will pop up. Next to "Open:", click on the space next to it and type in explorer.exe and then click on "OK". If done correctly, your desktop and taskbar should reappear.
