Ok, decided to finally start a WIP thread, my first char will be Wayne Holden from Lost Planet Extreme Condition *Xbox 360, PS3 & PC*



I need to convert these sprites to a usable 24 bit bmp for MUGEN, or ask someone for help, I got a "stance" animation (needs more movement and/or shaking) and am starting the walking forward sprites.
-Also, I need to know how to make GIFs with Fighter Factory lol

-ANY and all help appreciated-

Hmm... looks great, but the coat looks like it needs some more shading...

Hmm... looks great, but the coat looks like it needs some more shading...

I can`t shade it anymore than this without ruining the sprite... tried it, and... well  *Iceman ThumbsDown!*

First walking sprite, for the full animation, I want only the legs to move, so it can look similar to the game.

I`ve made moar progress with the sprites, unfortunately... I can`t create GIFs nor do I know how to change bmp files to usable MUGEN format (lol)

I`ll wait until I`m at least at 45% to call for coders, I have some very nice and unique hypers (trying to) to include with the character, one of them will involve the PTX-40A ramming over the opponent <-- I will sprite the robot from scratch.

Atracting people with the word "troll" is a wrong option. :|
About the PCX (MUGEN Format), try using an image converter.

--The first one takesa lot, took me about 2 hours, the others took less, it`s because you get acustomed to it.
--Base is Cable & Cyclops. The PTX 40a in 2 or 3 hypers will be from scratch.

Sorry for the bumping topic. Wayne Holden is now an idea for the project Capcom Fighting All-Stars, which means that we need to get all the feedback we can about the sprites before we can begin to sprite him (I was going to do a sprite test, but looks that with the school, this will have to wait) . WOW, nice. I just started playing Lost Planet a few days ago.

imo
the coat is all wrong. theyre are on a winter like planet so it should be white/gray-ish.

What about his mask?

You shouldn't go so far as to palette that. He needs to be completely reshaded, man. Pillow-shading isn't going to fly for a full character. The design is really solid, just... practice with single edits a bit more, maybe.

Too many people jump right into WIPs without mastering fundamentals you'll learn through editing, and it's really not hard to take just a bit more time and dodge that bullet.
