Terminator SCC Season 2 and 3 discussion

I just saw the season finale of 2 and I was shocked.

In Season 1 Derek killed a guy, that changed the future. His girlfriend Jesse came back from an alternate future. She said things, which confirmed the future has changed. In Season 2 we were all suspecting the T1001 was creating SkyNet, when actually she was creating a machine to stop SkyNet. She killed people to keep her business a secret so the government wouldn't assume she was creating SkyNet and shut her down.

In the last 5 episodes SkyNet realized this, and started moving in on the T1001. They also managed to find John, tried attacking him. They failed, and managed to kill Sarah's ex-boyfriend Charlie instead. SkyNet was also hunting down Catherine Weaver's daughter, John found this out and saved her from attack. However Derek got shot in the head. Sarah, John, and Cameron acquired Savannah Weaver to protect her from SkyNet. Agent Ellison attempts getting her back for the T1001. They give her back, but the SkyNet cyborg that killed Derek followed Ellison and managed to get the cops to arrest Sarah.

Sarah asks a priest to tell John not to come after her. Of course Cameron is sent to acquire Sarah. The now battle damaged Cameron, Sarah and John meet up with Ellison to talk to the T1001. The T1001 destroys the terminator that killed Derek, and gives his chip to John Henry (who was formerly known as Chromartie). For some reason unknown, Cameron gives her chip to John Henry, and Henry goes to the future. While Sarah, John and Ellison are talking to the T1001, SkyNet sends a machine to kill John, and Sarah. However the T1001 turns herself into a sheild to protect John, Sarah, and Ellison thus exposing her identity as a Terminator.

This is where she reveals that she wasn't creating SkyNet and that SkyNet is her enemy. John and the T1001 go to the future (not sure what year, most likely around 2030ish). The human resistance are running by doing a search for machines, the T1001 goes away. The resistance question John until Derek Reese comes and confirms that he's human. John tells Derek his name, but Derek doesn't recognize him, thus John never existed to lead the human race in the resistance.

It goes by the same logic the first time John traveled to the future. John wears puts on a jacket to cover himself up, and Derek said it looks like your going to be famous, that's my brothers jacket, and he's coming back in town. Then John is greeted by Kyle Reese, and possibly a human Cameron (because she was hugging a cyborg hunting dog).

That was a lot of typing. Personally I can't wait for season 3 after all that's happened.

First we gotta hope it gets picked up for Season3, which is no guarantee. Then I'll worry about what may happen next

Yeah, the ratings weren't even half of what they were of first season, but imo season 2 pwned season 1, and if they do a season 3, it will be even better. Season 2 is a definite must own on dvd for me. I already have S1 on dvd.

Not only must we hope that it gets picked up but u have to remember this is fox we're dealing wit.

Fox is forgiving sometimes though. After awhile, Adult swim managed to get Fox to revive Family Guy (because they've shown Family Guy eps since Adult Swim started).

If they do cancel it, I'm sure some science fiction type channel will pick up reruns, and then the show will be picked up again for a season 3. Also Terminator Salvation is coming out next month, and since the movie is supposed to be amazing, TSCC will likely rake in more viewers from the left overs @ the theater.

Ture that he movie probably will increase the viewers but i cant agree wit u on that fox commit. Fox seen it was a real financial fought when they let fam-guy go so they got it back for the money and the ratings. Fam is a prefect example of how dirty fox is. Remamber the eps of fam-guy when they were picked back up by fox? It told all the shows Fox caned and  many were good shows and Fox is still cannind good shows. I love fox it my fav station but they are bogus.

Back on topic. Im about to watch the eps of terminator that aire to nite. I was at the gym so i recorded it.

Yes, I completely and utterly love the show. It's far above the quality of most anything else on TV today. Sadly, there's a very slim chance we'll be getting Season 3. The last episode on tonight was nuts, so good. The damn thing is BEGGING for a Season 3.

It's sad when Smarter Than A 5th Grader, Howie Do It, and Wife Swap gets better ratings. It goes to show today's audience is rather low on the intelligence.

I don't understand why Cameron gives *The Turk* her chip, though... seems like a dull move...
What did make sense is Derek not knowing John, because he hadn't gone into the past yet and with John going to the future... it would make him not exist in the future because he skipped all those years... seems reasonable...

Unfortunately, I heard FOX has no plans to make Season 3, though... I gotta find a petition somewhere for it...

If they don't make a Season 3, though... it wouldn't make sense with the rest of the Terminator story...... so...... yeah... .. I would definitely urge them to reconsider.

yeah that eps was nuts. I think there going to slice it wit the new movie cuz if u watch one of the trailers it seem as if no one nos who john is and the future also depends on man and mechine just like in the show.
