how to change the big portait from a mugen char

hello ever get bored of the original portait from mugen chars
just wish you could change them?
well ts3121mugen presents: how to change the big portrait of a mugen char
kids: yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!
me: SHUT UP!!!(note: shut up is not a swear word ask anyone)

1.ok first of all get your char duh!   
2.open fighter factory duh!......again


3.open the pallets button


4.open the open pics button


5. make sure its a bit map file


6. get your pic....duh!


7. extract the colors


8.move your color you want as the transparent to the bottom right(dont ask why)



9. next you take a black spot and put it at the original white(or whatever color)spot



10.now just save your pic as pcx



11.then you get out then find your big portrait and press the change sprite button and find your pic you want to use and click on it then save it then your done!

how small does the Icons have to be? does the same method apply to do the Icons? (the small pics on the select screen)

This method is unnecessarily confusing. I suggest just swapping out sprite 9000,1 in the .SFF. 

There's a button for exchanging sprites in fighter factory. Big portraits don't share palletes, so it shouldn't be any trouble.
