so glad i decided to watch raw tonight...excellent match between Y2J,Edge and Orton to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at Summerslam. Orton won,but the entire match was truly amazing,one of the better ones i've seen in a while

UGH!! Nexus should have won this one, RAW has been so pathetic, but since they have Edge and Jericho, they would at least still have a chance before it completely disgusts me forever. SMACKDOWN all the way!! And I almost forgot, the ONLY reason they won, is because John Cena was there. If Cena wasn't involved, chances are that Nexus would have won. I was hoping SO MUCH when Chris Jericho told Cena that whoever loses their match against each other would be off the team, but like always, Cena does either his 5 stupid moves or his "STF" submission right after he gets beaten up by one of the best, Cena wins...completely pathetic.

Anyway, you are 100% wrong on the fact that Cena is better than Jericho. Jericho has better in ring ability AND mike skills than Cena.
Don;t take it personally but it is the truth (or at least I think it is) that Cena has completely ruined WWE. As a matter of fact, Cena is trying to impersonate the Rock. If ya need proof, this video is proof.



What Cena says at 1:13, that is true. The fans are right.

This was an awesome show.
Kofi and Ziggler was kinda boring until Nexus showed up.

Melina and Alicia kinda had me confused. couldnt tell if Melina was hurt or not and the finish just seemed too soon.

Big Show vs. SES was pretty good. I liked seeing Show and Gallows mix it up a bit.

Orton and Sheamus was just the disappointment of the night. just utterly horrible. Why cant Sheamus actually get a clean win?

Kane and Mysterio was pretty good. I just cant stand Rey and I wasnt too thrilled about a Kane/Taker feud since Kane always gets made out to look weak. But after that Tombstone, it might be interesting.

Nexus vs. Team Raw was really good. I like Daniel Bryan but I just wasnt too happy for him coming back as I would have been for a big heel turn. Nexus proved themselves worth of being called WWE Superstars. Skip, Gabriel, and Barrett out did themselves. My boy Tarver sadly didnt get a chance to shine. Young is the jobber of the group. Otunga is starting to grow on me. Was it just me or was Jericho and Bret Hart on fire tonight or what?? Oh my god. This reaffirmed my interest in Jericho. We may not have Y2J back but we have something else good. This match would have been perfect if either Nexus had won or it didnt end in traditional SuperCena style.

All in all, a good ppv no matter what people say.  and the Nexus is not dead, We will be back

Haven't watched WWE for over a month now but I'm interested in at least checking out the main event now. Gotta agree, Nexus is the best thing in a longgg while to happen to WWE. They gotta keep rolling with it as they're a huge threat to boot.

I agree completely. The match that caught my interest the most was WWE vs Nexus, but since it ended with SuperCena style, I was disappointed. If Nexus returns, no wait, WHEN Nexus returns, they will make sure Cena is gone for good.

Yea, promoting taker was a dumb move considering he might have still been unwell to even be at the event in the first place.

As for Triple H he stayed in the back the whole time. We'll give it a few more months before burying season is declared open.

There is said to be a lot of divisiveness within the TNA locker room between talent who have been there for years and those new to the roster. One exception is Ric Flair who has been described as getting along with just about everyone on both sides. Hulk Hogan is not overly disliked, but many feel they brought him in with high hopes, hasn't improved business and isn't very dedicated to TNA.

Many of the talent who have been with TNA for years were not fans of bringing in the ECW talent and putting a lot of focus on them. One member of the roster new to the company, Rob Van Dam, has been very outspoken about the difference he feels he has made along with Jeff Hardy. RVD made some comments recently that some found had interesting timing now that he is taking some time off from the company.

Rob Van Dam wrote, "I'd imagine a lot of the old TNA guys are feeling like they're taking a back seat. The thing is..you can't argue with numbers. Last week TNA broke new all-time records for ratings! TNA needed a change. The 6-sided ring and the great technical wrestlers–that nobody knew–wasn't working. TNA brought in two rock stars, and look at the company now! Dixie often points out how hiring Jeff Hardy and RVD started a whole new era, why do some of the wrestlers not see it? Too young, too green, too selfish to have the correct perspective. Whereas some of the TNA `stars' are lucky to get recognized walking around the studios, Jeff and myself live like actual celebrities, signing autographs and taking pictures EVERYWHERE we go. Without experiencing this, it's probably hard to imagine. In fact, very few wrestlers stick out in people's minds the way that Jeff and I do. WE love our fans and we love their love. First: Breaking New- Serena Released from WWE

She just debuted last week, now she's released? there's gotta be an explanation.

We start Raw with McSheamus cutting a promo and dissing the kids in the audience. He talks about Randy Orton and him being a spoiled kid and says he doesnt deserver a title shot. Then Michael Cole gets an "email" from the GM which says that Sheamus can pick his opponent for his next WWE title match. There is a throne set up and Sheamus was to watch all the matches that happen that evening. As soon as the GM is done, we go to the first match.

Edge vs. R-Truth. Edge wins via spear after Truth misses the Truth Axe. After the match, Edge cuts a promo saying why he should face Sheamus.

Miz vs. John Cena announced for later.

The Great Khali vs. Chris Jericho. Jericho wins vis submission (surprising). After the match, Jericho cuts a promo saying why he should face Sheamus, then Khali slaps him out the ring.

Recap of the Miz/Daniel Bryan from last week, then Cena promo, basically saying the Miz almost cost Team Raw the match at Summerslam.

Jillian Hall vs. Melina. Melina wins via the Last Call (which Jillian botched). After the match, LayCool appear on the titantron and say they'll be on the 900th Raw next week with an offer Melina can't refuse.

The Miz is interviewd backstage. says that Cena will face consequences for taking him off Team Raw.

Back onstage, Sheamus is sitting on his throne and Nexus comes out. Sheamus trys to play them off. Cole gets another email that says that the Nexus's ban on competing for titles has been lifted. Barrett says that their truce is over.

The Miz vs. John Cena. Ends in DQ after interference from Daniel Bryan. Miz gets an FU and Daniel Bryan crossface (seriously WWE, a necktie and now the crossface??).

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. John Morrison announced for later

Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos. Kozlov and Santino win via the Iron Curtain from Kozlov to one of the Usos. After the match, the other Uso is about to attack Santino but Tamina stops them and helps Santino up. Before she exits, she blows a kiss to Santino.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. John Morrison. Orton wins via RKO to Morrison while he was trying to do a springboard dive. After the match, he RKO's DiBiase.

after commercial, Sheamus is in the ring to announce his challenger who turns out to be, you guessed it, Zack Ryder!!!

Sheamus vs. Zack Ryder for WWE championship. Sheamus wins in 3 seconds via Brogue Kick. After the match, Sheamus says he doesnt have to defend the title anymore per regulation and was going to take the month off until after the pay per view. Barret comes out, and annouces he's going to use the title shot he earned from winning NXT 1. Then Cole gets on email and says there will be a 6 pack challenge. Sheamus vs. Barrett vs. Jericho vs. Edge vs. Orton vs. Cena. All enter the ring and give Barrett a Nexus style eat down. then Jericho hits Sheamus with the Codebreaker, Edge Spears Jericho, Cena FU's Edge, and Orton RKO's Cena.

End

Thoughts:
1. Im so SICK of Morrison being burried, week in and week out while the Miz is elevated higher and higher. Its stupd and ridiculous for this to keep happening. WWE should have kept Morrison on Smackdown for another year at least since they're basically destroying his character.

2. The Nexus. Im one of their biggest fans and I like Wade Barrett and all, but why is it that all of the focus is always on him? I understand he's the leader and everything, but why not develop the others? Maybe have an Otunga/R-Truth thing, Gabriel/Tarver vs. the Harts for the titles, Slater and someone else, ya know? have them all developing. I hate to think that the Nexus is only there to elevate Barrett and it would really suck.

3. You have the Usos on Raw, but not the Tag Champs? what sense does that make?

4. Speaking of the Usos, they're jobbing to Kozlov and Marella now?

5. As much as I hate the Miz (I loath him), I will say he looked pretty good tonight against Cena. He just needs a better moveset.

6. Since when cant Khali reach over to grab the bottom rop to break up the Walls of Jericho? that made absolutely no sense to me.

7. I know Im about the billionth person who's said this, but does anyone else just want to punch R-Truth the next time he sings that stupid song and says "Whats Up"?

8. Did anyone else hear a ton of boos when Cena was announced to be apart of the 6 pack match?

9. Does anyone else not think the WWE is booking the Miz to not be a credible champion since he doesnt even defend the title he has now?

10. Where was Evan Bourne?

Overall, it was an OK raw. nothing to eye grabbing. Nothing specific to watch.

well, we might possibly see nexus vs. hart dynasty for the tag team titles at night of champions, but without skip sheffiled since he's apparently injured, which is too bad actually

Idc who wins at NightOf CHampions just as long as it isnt Cena, I swear that guy makes WWE.......just....terrible. How much you willing to bet if Darren Young was against someone else he would have won that match and still be in Nexus but I think what they gonna do with Nexus is eventually it might go onto a 4 on 4 with Daniel Bryan leading the exiled Nexus members and Wade Leading the the few Nexus members thats with him.
