That depends, what art program are you using what are you editing from, stuff that already has a background?

Cuz its a crummy little program just tossed in there.
If i were you ide swtich to something better, like gimp.

Many talented people like Tmasta use paint.
I use paint too, Its a really great great program, its simple and useful

Instead of programs like photoshop CS3... >_>

Btw, Paint cant make Gif animations, But you can save one file in Gif format though.

I could never figure out how to use it good. I miss appleworks 5, thats what i started out with.
paint just dosnt have the tools im used to. Gimp is free and it comes close to the appleworks i remember.

Thats what I have with other programs, Some features are nice but I never could figure it out on how I could use them

So I'm still spriting the old school way

You can't get rid of the background of an image by using the Paint program.. plain and simple. It's just a basic program that was tossed in there back in the day...

You will need a more professional program like Gimp or Photoshop to get rid of the background of an image.
