Favorite Fiction Blog compiles a list of superhero WIPs for you

Favorite Fiction Blog recently posted an article that attempted to compile all the various superhero WIPs that are publicly known about from the various community message boards. The list does not take into account for private WIPs, as no way for the blog to know enough about them to offer discussion.

This was done in an attempt to help anyone in the public try and find information on works in progress that may interest them. The other main goal was to help generate buzz for those amazing works of art that will provide countless people hours of entertainment once they are released.

While your there, make sure you voice your opinion on the poll in the sidebar about characters you would like to see in MUGEN.

And again, the list itself is a work in progress, so if there is any information that needs to be corrected, please let us know and we will do so as soon as possible.

Nice list, some suggestions:

1) Electro, Vision, Savage Hulk and Vulture have been release

2) You could add Parasite, and Invisible Woman by Buyog. There are of Wips by the Unlimited you could add too.

2) What qualifies as a WIP? How long until a WIP is forgotten as a potential wip?

Well, according to the creators, Electro, Savage Hulk and Vision were beta releases. And that was part of the thought process for the compilation, anything that is still in beta, alpha, and not a fully released version was considered as a WIP.

Buyog's Parasite and Inivisible Woman were oversights due to internet posted progress about them being different than most.

And The Unlimited keep all their progress private for the most part, so hard to add them to a compilation such as that.

As for what considered for the list, subjective I guess. Depending upon the amount of work put in, creators history of releasing, and the blog's general anticipation level. So yea, subjective is a good way to put it.

That's pretty cool. I didn't even know about some of the characters being worked on, or the sites.

All the animated gifs you have posted leave trails . I think they need to be fixed .

That was the original problem before, but the page was taken down. When you went to check it out, the page was back up, but in the process of being fixed. I just checked it out, and seemed to be finalized.


Considering the WIP board is something we want to try and keep updated, have a question for forum:

Do you think characters with released betas, but the discussion about their progress has ended basically should be removed from the board?

The vote was in the left sidebar, and the main blog author only selected a few to choose from in both Marvel and DC.

Off the top of my head I remember, Darkhawk, Hannibal King, Dr. Strange, Dr. Fate, Abomination, Ion, Steel, Vixen, Hawkgirl, Hawkman...okay, can't remember the rest, but there are more.

I think once a Beta is released the blog shouldn't really focus on it.

But major updates should be reported after the Beta

What if there is still talk on the beta, for instance Buyog updates his WIP Betas as far as info goes on his website.
