I signed up for one of dem communitys but i cant tell u yet cuz i havent done a survey yet.

yes it is a scam. I have hard eveidence. I went thru a whole survey for an IPOD touch and at the end of the survey(10 plus surveys in one) it asked if I wanted to buy something then they would send it to me. SO I hit no and 3 years later I actually found out that they added a hidden feature to my phone bill(I used my real phone number) that covered a voicemail service. I never caught on because it was not really listed on the bill. After all that I called my phone company and got a reimbursement of over $200 because they charged my mom's phonebill every month for that 3 years. SO yes never do surveys.

man those people are sneaky, how do they get the power to make commercials and stuff like that shouldn't that be illegal, cuz my brother did something similar to get free ringtones a commercial on T.V and they charged him every month for it and he never got the ringtone.

Some are scams, others aren't. I got some money from the company that makes Tag bodyspray for taking a survey. Just don't take ones that require you to have a cell phone.
