What is this thing called

I hear there is something you can use to actually draw on your computer . It's pretty expensive , but I want to buy one . What is it called ?

Bamboo or Wamboo , something like that ?

Anyone know ?

Wacom , that sounds like it .

Is  that of the better devices like this , or are there ones that are better ?

They are called "graphic tablets" and I'm pretty sure Wacom is the only one bc they created the tech and have the patents.

My brother in law has one

How does he like it ? I'm looking to get something to step up my game a little . I have artistic talent & can draw , so why not actually hand draw my sprites & animations . I can use that thing for this , correct ?

He likes it alot...I know you can use the software to save any drawings as .bmp or .png so I guess you could use this for MUGEN :)

I've actually heard of someone doing this awhile back but I can't find it  :-??

mmmm Yeah u can use this for sprites... Photoshop works perfectly with graphic tablets (there are more programs not only photoshop) and Wacom... is the best brand of those, and there are more companies... If u wanna more information DT ask me or look for in wiki

I'm actually just going to buy that Wacom Intuos 3 on the way home from work . They have a 30 day return policy if I don't like it  :thumbsup:

Hehe ^^ nvm. I used one when I went to England... for draw in PC is the best and it had handwritting recognition too,it was simply...great  :DxDie

Yeah , I got it .  Think I need to find some software to run with it . I read the disc they give you with it can interefere with some programs when installed . So I didn't want top install it . The thing still works in photoshop , but the pen buttons do not work accurately .

I've heard Corel makes some good software for that kind of thing :)
