Lizard needs a lot of work.

Arellon is a friend, and he just enjoys making novelty characters. Theres a lot of frames needed, and a lot of code missing.

i feel way outta the loop i just saw this today , the screen pack looks great, im preety excited about this whole project, as for the lizard i had seen him on a wip youtube vid and was really hoping someone would finish him cause i loved his look, but yes that person who said shouldnt he slobber....yes, yes he should

Hey everyone, i recently went to the Marvel: The Outsider forum(where i see some DarkTalbain activity) and i have asked

of creators about using there sprites and i haven't recieved a no yet, so i will be putting some characters into mugen, such as this one:

I will post some Man-Thing Animation sprites momentarily. Another question is, are Comedy Haha's sprites open-source and how long must someone be inactive in order for their Mugen WIPs or characters are open-source(i saw something about that around here) thank you for any answers

I don't think that's how it works... You should probably wait till you get a "Yes" to start doing anything with peoples sprites. Not assume "Yes" and wait for a "No"

I would not use their stuff without asking because they will come here to gripe about it and then we will have MUGEN drama episode #223. Get a hold of Led, an administrator and dragon at the Scruffy forum, and ask him directly.

I did ask for their permission, i guess it still wasn't clear, i asked the creators if i could use their sprites and i was given permission as long as i credit them in the Read Me File

I got Comedy Ha Ha's permision for his Havok last year just in case Z666 needed any of it for his Havok (he didnt though).

I can tell you that Comedy is very laid back about Mugen, and told me he didnt really care because he is not into it anymore. He's in a band, and busy with his life these days.

So he's not going to flip out, but his old partners might. Random rules state that a creator must be inactive 3 years or more to use. I'm a little hesitant to give out his email, but I might be able to locate the page where I initially made contact.

Random Select's rules don't apply here. There is no way to know if a creator is "active" or "inactive" just based on forum posting. If you want to use someone's material that isn't already open source then your carry the burden of contacting that person.

But you're right, Comedy HaHa was always pretty cool about this stuff.
