he'll be finished quicker than you think, the spriter creates abouta move per hour he did the whole stance based off venom in 2 hours and the punch in 30 minutes. I'm going to start putting him into mugen this afternoon

Yeah i was thinking the same thing  :| .It really doesnt look like doppelganger.The sprites are messy and its just venom we three arms and why put him in the game anyway, i thought we were going to try to make charcters like moon knight,black panther,iron fist into the game  ??? .You need to focus on actually putting a whole team together who can sprite and wouldnt have a problem making someone from your roster.If you keep working around the roster the game will never jump off the ground

Yeah, thats true but... for a basic concept is good... but it needs more work

Alright understand, i will try to stick to the original list for now, i just get really excited when i see stuff that i think i should have added or that would make a nice addition, i agree he is a little big for Doppleganger but i really liked this version and i think that in one comic series Doppleganger had become double the size of spiderman, though i could be mistaken, but anyway, for now we will stick to the roster and then come to other things if possible, i thank everyone for being honest with me.

I seen that yesterday & thought how much work it needs . For one thing it's very sloppy . Doesn't the doppleganger always have 6 arms ? Some sprites the creator puts two on the one side & 3 on the other . The guy needs to quit worrying about making the character in 3 days , take some time & make it look good .

Plus , you are correct doppleganger is just a little bigger than Spiderman . He also had the web design all over , just like spidey .

Apparently J-Dogg just thinks if he scarfs up WIPS & says they will be in the game , he can prove the skeptics wrong . But all it does is make him look bad . What was the point of displaying a roster list , when you are just going to try & throw any new WIP you see in it .

You said you have had a vision of this game . Did that vision include Doppleganger , Zombie Cap , Wolvenom & every other character that you approached creators to use for this thing ? You don't need to answer that because I already know the answer . There was no point in posting the character list if you aren't even going to stick with it & just throw in any WIP that a creator will agree to let you use . As a matter of fact if you do not have people to work on those characters right now . There is no point in that list . Because you are not going to just get a creator to work on something you want & I told you that before . Why not display a list of things people agreed to work on . I think I know the answer to that also . Because it will be a list of 3 characters & won't be that impressive for an entire game . I was kind of having the attitude that everyone has to start somewhere & this thing may actually happen one day with some good organization . But from your actions these last few days , I really think this thing is nothing more than your vision & it's pretty much just chaos . I told you this before infinity , scruffy dragon etc .... Did not announce a list of characters for their game & just try to find people to make them . They announced the character for the game when a creator started working on it for the game . Your way is all backwards , No one is going to say " Oh I really hate that comic character , but I will make him because you want me to " Most creators make characters they like & they turn out better because they enjoy what they are creating .

Just think about all this .

Before someone reads the Wolvenom part & misunderstands what I typed

Okay, thank you, i admit that i've been a little crazy trying to incorporate everything Marvel that i see around me into the game, i have taken a seriouslook at myself and this game and i will get back to what needs to happen, i will remove the character list, because i think that the game can't be limited to what i want or those characters, and i am also seeing that alot of things that are being made re not going by that list, i'm sorry if you feel like this game will not go anywhere but it's just that i'm so eager for things to get done that i rush my self into obtaining characters and doing all kinds of stuff without really looking at what i need, so i will be working on that, but for now there is no official list, and the list i posted is just something to go by :thumbsup:

I could understand this if the screenpack was done & you wanted to release a beta . Yes you would need characters . But the screenpack isn't done , is it even started ? So what's the rush for ?

Trust me , rushed work looks rushed  & bad . This is an entire game you are planning on making . It's not going to all happen overnight .

Put it this way . I've been working on Medieval Spawn for months . I could've had him done by now if I just rushed & made the chains & the cape , etc .... look however . But I am taking the extra time to do all the sprites with the cool looking shaded chain links & the cape that looks like it flows .

I am assuming since this is " your vision " that consumes your every thought as you mentioned , you want it too be good . So quit rushing everything . This all takes time .

& I still suggest you should start working on the screen pack . So if some characters get finished you have something to put them in .

so here iw what i think from all this so far:
1. a screenpack is a bad idea, i will never use it, except if you can add 500 characters. I don t play eoh, or dcvsmarvel screnpack or whatever stupid concept someone created. Why because mugen is the best game out there, i don t care about these subgames, sorry acey, excursion and all these that worked hard on these projects. I respect it but i don t care about these.
2. i won t do anything on captain america: heroes reborn until he doesn t have any more bugs.
3. i would gladly help on spidey only if we use sludge's spiderman, and then add hypers, supers, intros, ....
4. do you want some help on moon knight's design because Read the posts above...
5. wonderman and daredevil won t be part of this project, i promised them and a secret one to acey for eoh a long time ago.

Amen!  Just because this dude says he's so eager to get this game done, it doesn't justify his behavior.  This guy has an excuse for everything.  Every time this guy types, it makes me not want to play his game if it ever gets completed.  It's all about networking.  If your gonna post updates with little underlying comments telling the other person to hurry f*ck up, your not going to get anywhere, you'll just burn all your bridges. 

By the way, a little  >:-(-| but I just like to say that you guys are fantastic at what you do. Keep up the good work.

^^^ i don't think everything's going bad, actually i think everything is coming along nicely, there's some other things in the works that i haven't show as well, but i only showed the screenpack screenshots because DarkTalbain brought up the topic and i just wanted to answer his question, so maybe he can understand, the Screenpack is basically finished and is getting worked on a little more so it can be the best it can be. I really think this project is going to be alright, i love the honesty, because i know that it'll just make me better, so as long as i look at it as constructive criticism everything will be fine.

Hm... this project looks like it going to be awesome once it gets a stable foundation to work with. This template you spoke of, is the characters going to have features like chain combos, a special system to work with and what type of FX are you going to use?
May i suggest using a system similar to the MUA or XML. Its possibly the best to work with in my opinion because since its Marvel based not VS based.

Hi guys i just wanted to say a couple of things .First I think the idea of doing something "BIG" is great. It allows you to see what you have  and what it will take  to make this project possible. I think that for "new" creators like myself we can get over zealous with the thoughts of making the next "BIG" character ,screen pack, project ,ect.So i feel J. D. I think these veteran creators care about your vision J. D. cause if they didn't they wouldn't say anything and let you struggle. So take that to heart.I think you should use accessible characters first just to get the fellow IMT members interested then, they may begin to offer help and maybe characters. You never know ...it could  turn out to be something special. Just enjoy the process that what i say and the best of luck to you guys on the project   %%- :thumbsup:    MOOSE
