This is what i have for the stance so far(basically hand movements)

I will work on his chest(probably have him breathing)
Leg movements
And some arm movements

Liking the stance. Think it's gonna work out really well. :)

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

I'm hating on the Venom palette . It's just too dark in alot of places . The spider on his chest shouldn't be such a dark blue . Venom in the comic just has a slight blue outline & highlight on his muscles . There is way too much blue , also .

These are Venom's I actually painted .

See what I'm saying how it's fine blue highlights & they are everywhere which would include his legs . You can't go that dark & have all that light blue on him . Just doesn't look good . It will take some work to do Venom's palette right . I would do it , but I have my own symbiote to attend to . Besides usually the sprites are made & then you make palettes . You don't even have any of the sprites done yet . Worry about the stance before the palette .

I completely understand, DT, and I wanted to go in that direction, however I'm a palettizer, not a spriter. If I understood more about converting to a 256-color PCX, maybe I would have been more successful in this, but as it stands, I lack any real skill for creation. At all.

J-Dogg. The palette I made works with XCB (Big Eli King) Venom... >.> did you still want it?

J-Dogg n team, i want 2 wish u all the luck in the world, hope u make it big time.

my only tip:

don't make char WIPS that may b already b gettin worked on or have already been done, there's no point man, u would only b slowin urself down, even if u have new moves or diff costumes, u could just make new intros or specials n add 2 the chars,

instead create somethin new, make someone fresh, chars that we r all hopein will b created, chars who havent been announced as wips,

look around the mugen forums n u will learn of these wips, n in the end if u do something cool ppl will let ya use their stuff n change their template or so.

in other words, create on an original thought

peace

Love this Spidey . You made his eyes bigger too , right ?

Thanks DT, I forgot to mention that his eyes were bigger  :P

Liking the stance. Think it's gonna work out really well. :)

Thanks, Im anm hoping to get more done by Friday but my long weekend is now over  :'(

I just realized J that that Spidey concept was from the thing we were working on   :) I like how you implemented it

Yes thats the one I just tweaked it a little and it came out good  :w00t:

And about Venom
I believe we are using the mvc2_venom on the main site
When i post my venom stance i'll try to have a palette to come along with it

Sorry it's not coming out to well for me, the way that pal is set up will prevent the pal we want from happening..... :(

And now i'm getting ready for school so i'll see you guys later

I would like to thank everyone for their support, i really appreciate it, i promise that we will not let you down, i spend almost every waking moment of my life visioning this game, finally finished. I think that it has the potential to open doors visually in mugen, we will see our first evr comic style stage today, and i can't wait for it.

Update:
-FilthyKadaver will be posting Moon Knight today
-I have just about finished changing up Captain America's coding to the MvC template(sprited by JasonTodd) and Fallen_Angel will add some extra items to him, so he can be the base for our characters :)

Also, JasonTodd please send me any extra moves you have for Captain America so we can use them accordingly

never mind my comment . I actually tried to make a new " comic book " palette for Venom . It can't be done . The way his palette is set up , it's impossible to have that look . I could do it , but I would have to repsrite him . I don't have time for that . So carry on .

Thanks DT, I forgot to mention that his eyes were bigger  :P

The bigger eyes rule . Whenever I do anything with Spidey I make his eyes bigger too .

Alright, thanx, and do you have any extra moves for him? Because the MvC template calls for more attacks than the MvDC template does. Also, nice palettes, i like the 3rd on the best. I guess we won't rush it, but all the basics are smooth i could send him to you but remember there are a few bugs and the specials and hyper are being worked on as we speak because they do not work properly

What's the rush to get this character out there . I mean this wouldn't prove anything anyway . Jason & Mew already released him for one . If you are going to update & improve him that's not going to happen in 4 hours . Take your time on each character since the game isn't even slightly off the ground yet .
