My laptop suddenly shuts down when playing games...

I think it's due to overheating, since it's summer here in Argentina and temperatures are like 36° C, totally unbearable. This story started since heat started to show up. No blue screening whatsoever, so that adds more to my point.

Weird thing is, when my battery isn't plugged, it still shuts down. It runs right when my battery is plugged and I'm running an economic energy plan.

I say nothing could be wrong since I haven't changed any of the programs (Emulators and 3 games), I have in months, have defragmented and scanned for virus/spyware, and everything is clear.

But I'm still worried. Any opinions?

If it happens when you plug it up it probably a hardware problem residing in the power input probably wires crossing causing your computer or whatever electrical device to shut down

Maybe you should get a spare fan and sit your laptop ontop of it when you use it. My brother does that when its hot.

you have to have a cooler under your laptop like that ALWAYS. winter, summer, whatever, but always so its lifespan its extended.
