   Are there any instruction manuals for FF and GIMP? (mostly FF) I'm killing myself w/ amatuerish mistakes! I've watched plenty of tutorials..but much basic s**t is still a mystery to me.I spent a long time sequencing an 8 pallette animation for a character's stand...and it was working good,I then saved everything repeatedly in the same file,but when I tried to open the character again -everything was gone! then I adapted a character of my own,opened it in pallettes,carried over the sprites,saved and applied,and when I tried to re-open it said "wrong pcx need version 5" .It's very frustrating,and I can only seem to get circumstance specific responses..which helps,but is a nuisance all around.I'm open to any suggestions

Did you read the DOC file that comes with mugen?

That will guide you step by step bro.

In addition to the invaluable Mugen docs, opening premade characters and checking out how everything links together really helps too. As you do that you'll find that your questions become more specific and you'll know exactly what you need to ask for.
