No, no, it's called, AI that abuses an easy infinite is a bad idea. Infinites like that actually do wreck gameplay, and should definitely be removed.

Know your place, and shut your mouth. Read the damn posts. Excursion is updating his AI. Take it easy, it was his first try, quit fussing about it and deal with it till the next update.

you can only suggest...

I think you people are just missing the point. An infinite combo is a potentially game-wrecking problem. And quite frankly, the fact that it was coded in for the AI to abuse is just ridiculous. A tough AI is fine. A cheap one that abuses infinites? That turns into another Evil Ken. And quite frankly, I don't think anyone wants to see Cutman turned into just another Metool victim. It's called feedback. Tips and ideas to help make Cutman better. What are you contributing? Mindless praise. Cutman was amazing in V1, but with V1.1, he's gotten cheap, thanks to that easily abusable infinite. Hopefully, V1.2 will fix that.

I actually replied to the AI issue you have back in time. If you read page 2 of this thread:

Yup, especially now that I am armed with some of Sludge's knowledge of AI coding (thank you Sludge ;) ) My next update will fix the cheesiness. I wanted to try my hand at coding my own AI by studying tutorials I searched for online (like Sykotik's general AI coding toot) and it helped me to a point to where I understood what did what, but I got a more in-depth look now so that will be fixed in a future update, so everyone stop complaining.    :D

I will develop a more fair and balanced AI. You have Cutman V1.0 I assume. Use that until I release a newer version. You are not required to download Cutman V1.1 What everyone is trying to tell you is that if I so CHOOSE to keep V1.1's AI, then that is my decision and my decision only. What you say you 're doing is posting feedback, that is good and I welcome it. What everyone else is telling you is that you are doing it in a negative way, but shooting back at people telling them that they are contributing "mindless praise" only leads to you getting shot back with flames and this really is not a Legoman727 flame thread now is it? One person taking the time to post a simple comment like "good job" or "great character" is enough to motivate me to update him further. It is not mindless praise. I take constructive criticism, praise and feedback all together in one spoonful.

Again, if you dislike using a slightly tougher Cutman because you dislike "cheap" AI's then don't use this version and stick to V1.0 until I one day decide to release V1.2 or beyond.

Well said Ex.. In the end it's your work, your call.. If people don't like it nothing is stopping them from making their own. So far every bug I've noticed people report to ya you end up fixin in due time one way or another, so I'm sure any and all present issues with this latest released will be fixed at some point. Keep up the awesome work, man, I'm sure you'll just get better as ya go along. :)

OK, i understand that its Cutman but whats with all the projectiles? He barely fights and throwns that lil' blade on his head continuosly. Its almost like fighting Shin Ken....you cant get a move in on him.

*yes Shin Ken was kickin my @$$ lastnite. never really played him. Has extremely cheap LP & LK combos ;D and he has some kinda mode change in new rounds >:( fought him about 5-7 times and hit ESC. Well put together though just a ridiculously hard A.I.

Great job with Cutman`s latest update,i although i never had the chance to test him,something i`ll do know to check if he`s really cheap...
EDIT:He`s kinda cheap when spamming the Boomerang Cutter thingy,but nothing that a jump or a dodge cannot solve...or a very agressive offensive.
BTW,the attack where he throws a tornado of cutter does too much damage for a lv1 hyper Ex,maybe it should be toned down for a next update <_<|...|
Love the winning poses and intros,is he gonna have a special one against Ermac`s Super paper mario or only mario will have the special intro?Just out of curiosity :DxDie

i know now how to tone down any attack power etc...by editing it through .cns file...you could do it by yourself instead of waiting for the next update...thats simple as sh*t you wont even believe...all you have to do is scale down in your .cns file until you'll see an attack groups and watch for the word POWER = ... it really could take a lot of time, but if you really have time you could use it...

Hi!  I was wondering if you wanted to use this sprite for a Super move or something:



It's from an old rockman comic called:  Rockman Megamix 1 by Hitoshi Ariga.  I just copied it from the scan, and cleaned the image down to 6 colours without messing up the image, and cleaning off the edges~
I thought it looked cool~  >o:-(
