Pleae help! Music problem with AlphaStorm Screenpack!

I was making a little compilation for myself, but for some reason, I cannot get music to play on any stages.  I have the .mp3 files in the sound folder, the .def files for the stages have the correct filenames for the mp3's (I did a spell check, and the slashes are correct as well) and I made sure that the music volume was on MAX at the options menu.  The only difference is that I'm using the AlphaStorm screenpack, which happens t be hi-res, as well as a mugen engine which supports both Hi and Lo res features.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

just a thought but try changing the name of the .mp3 files to make them smaller. that usually works for me.

btw: how may character slots does that screenpack have? im looking for a new one with of character slots

Nope, that didn't work, music still won't play.

Also, it's moderately large.  There's 8 rows of 24 slots, plus quite a few more.  I'm just too lazy to count them all.

oh ok. maybe u need a diff plugin or somethin for it.

Huh?  Elaborate, please.

its like adding a character to the select.def file, but u open up the mugen.cfg file. scroll down to where it says plugins = looptype then it should say something about in_mad.dll. look in ur plugin's folder and find a plugin (i use in_mp3.dll) copy that name and paste it there after the looptype and save the file

Only if your running Mugen-hi. If you user WinmugenPLUS you can use the Hi-res screenpack with your low rez stages.

and dll tip, upgrade to in_MP3PRO.dll. You can find it in your winamp plugins or find it online. much better that in_mad, in_mp3 or in_DJ-VAN for that matter.
