I was diagnosed like 2 weeks ago. It's not bad to the point where I have to have surgery, but I was prescribed painkillers.

From time to time I end up a lil high from it, but no biggie.

Without the pk's the pain in my left leg and back is so bad I can't sleep.

Usually they put a brace around people so they don't have to get surgery, and sometimes they do surgery. I guess it's one of those things where they shove a metal rod through your back. They just gave me a ton of painkillers and instructions for excerisizing (I know I spelled that wrong, but I don't care).

Metal rod through the back sounds painful as hell.  All I can say is be strong.  Keep us updated on your progression.

Ouch sorry to hear about this VKM. I hope u won't have to get sugery cuz it sounds painful and u won't be able to do things like u normally do, so u got my prayers

Yo bro i actually have scoliosis too. It's really not that bad if you make sure you know how to treat it. What i have to do is at least 20 push-ups and sit-ups a day, so basically i have to take care of my body to help myself out. For most people, scoliosis is diagnosed to people that were lucky enough to not have to be in a wheel chair for the rest of their life. So technically, we got off easy .

Yes, very sorry to hear this. My cousin has this and she had to get surgery and the metal rod put in..she still suffers pain, but has to try not to let herself get too stiff by just sitting around. Take very good care of yourself and don't do anything that can put unnecessary strain on your back. Hang in there
