Hi.

I'm new to mugen and am just getting started so sorry if this question has been raised before (I'm sure it would have been!).

I notice that some characters have much better AI than other. For example my Superman and Batman are very poor whereas Wonderwoman and Thor are extremely aggressive. Wonderman as a result easily beats superman when I watch them fight and I want to change this... How can I? I know how to change their attack and defensive strength and their hit points but not their aggression. Can this be done??

well u download fighter factory and u open which ever character and ithink ugoin to the CNS file and how much they take away and all that other stuff is there jus play around with thenumbers  :thumbsup:

By default, mugen characters have pretty poor AI (they behave fairly randomly, and don't know how to use their moves well).  But it's possible to code a good AI into a character, and some creators do this - Wonder Woman and Thor are good examples.  Essentially it's a matter of having the character analyse what's happening in the fight, and respond accordingly.

Because of the open-source nature of mugen coding, it's possible to add AI to a character yourself if you know how.  I've done this myself for a few characters - one of them was Superman actually, so I could upload it somewhere I guess if you'd like.  Or you can do a little research and learn yourself - there's various advice and tutorials floating about I think.  I wouldn't recommend changing a character's attack/defense or any other variables - this will affect them when used by a human, not just the AI, and will probably lead to an unbalanced character.
