My 1st Ever Sprite Edit

Well I finally sat down and decided to do a sprite edit. Following the recent symbiote craze I give you. Symbiote Zangief. Comments & Criticism Welcome.

All I did was edit him in the paint program that came on my computer.

oh really cool i always hear fighter factory and that stuff but another reason i dont create stuff is im VERY impatient when it comes to creating stuff i never finish stuff that takes of work like legos i never finish because i hate when in the middle of making something you mess up but mugen is helpin me out though so i might be able to get over my impatience hopefully

but as the dr.feelgood said you can add the symbiote symbol for it to look more symbiote-ish you can also enlarge his eyes and add a tongue

Yeah, all you did was change the color, then tweek the eyes a little...
You didnt even alter the clothing?

Symbotes also cover up the hair on the host.
And with it being Zangif, he'd probably have a symbol representing his homeland on his chest in white.
Maybe the Scycle and Hammer?

Symbiotes can be whatever you want them to . Since most of these guys are not & never will be a symbiote , use your imagination .  I made DARKTALVENOM still have his hair , it just grew more into spikes .  I like the fact the white part of the symbiote is for his hair . Work on his head more , though . Give him a huge tongue & bigger eyes .

Thanks DT. I decided to do away with the red trunks boots & wristbands but left part of them white and added a tongue and made his eyes bigger like you suggested. Modified image in the first post.

You all are killing me with this palette swap 

I'm going to let you in on a little secret 

Wolvenom is just a palette swap . I just changed a few things on him .

It's the animations & the move set that I have done , that will make him stand out as a totally different character .

When it comes down to it , any symbiote character will pretty much start out as a palette swap . With some minor cosmetic changes . OK I went a little farther & made Wolvenom's head look kind of " snake like " because I thought it would look cool . I had more to work with in my opinion , because Wolverine has those " ears " that I could play around with . Zangief is kind of a plain character . 

Read New Avengers issue #34-36 . Dr Doom dropped a symbiote bomb & all the Marvel heroes besides the Avengers became symbiotes . All  of them were just Marvel characters drawn with symbiote faces .  But people still enjoyed those issues .

BTW : jc did say this was his first sprite ever . Cut the guy some slack . We all have to start somewhere & most of us seem to get better with practice . 

@ jc  I said make the Tongue & eyes " HUGE " that tongue is not even as big as Venom's . I would almost make the eyes wrap to the back of his head . I would also make his head a little bigger & get rid of the hair on top .

Ok here's a little more work on it. I made the head bigger as well as the eyes and the tongue. The whole idea behind this is so that I can, with the right bases, do some sprite edits of the superheroes I have played over the years in Champions.

Never used that system myself. But in my years of role-playing I have used of the major systems. Paladium, Call of Cthulu, the old d6 version of Star Wars, the old Marvel Super Heroes rpg, Gamma World, Battletech. I currently dont have an actual tabletop game going so I have been running and playing in several online Play By Post games.

Funny, I did play by post before I descoverd table top, and well, i cant go back .
Ive played allot of World of Darkness (werewolf, mage, vampire, even a bit of changeling) Ive got the Mekaton Zeta Plus books for all my Giant Robot needs.. Ive played d20 starwars and ive got a few paladium books someplace ive never used except for the images .
I run allot of games myself, I can always find players if i really need to .
