Do You Customize You Stage Music
« on: November 18, 2008, 01:20:29 AM »
I have recently started to customize music for my stages. I try to find a song that seems to fit the char who will call that stage home. Does anyone else do this and if so list what you have done. Here is my list

Char/ Stage/ Song by Artist

Blackheart/ Blackheart's Stage from MSH/ Demonid Phenomenon by Rob Zombie
Thor/ Asgard by Loganair/ God of Thunder by KISS
Felicia/ Downtown Strip Club by MOTVN/ Honkeyton Badonkadon by Trace Adkins
Venom/ Night Version of Spider Man's Stage/ Back In Black by AC/DC
Scorpion (R@CE45 edit of Binho's)/ Live House from Darkstakers/ Immortal by Adema
Psylocke/ Express stage from MSH/ Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne (Jedah shares this Psylocke with Ironhorse Iron Terror being his stage)
Sandman/ NewYorkMarvel from SD forum/ New York Groove by Ace Frehely
Juggenaut/ Puerto Rico/ Seek & Destroy by Metallica
Morrigan/ Urban Glow by MOTVN/ I Want You by KISS

I don't because when I make a video, the song always sounds messed up after snagit records it. So now I just add the mp3 when I make the videos in WMM.

I do/try to

I was trying to have a stage for every character, and a song for every stage. This gets hard when you let your roster grow really big..

If I can loop the already existing song, I try to ADX it.

I always customize my music.  I rarely use the bgm that comes with the stage.  I pick music that I think fits the stage, unless Im to lazy to find another song.

If I get a stage without music I tend to customize my music that or if I find the music for the stage really sucks other than that I usually leave the music as is cause it takes forever to find music to fit some of the stage I have. Also when you have like 80 stages it tends to be a pain to find music for all of them.

I can understand that and there is certain music I associate with certain characters. Ken, Ryu & Guile all have super jump versions of there original SFII stages with the original music. I can't imagine fighting them any other way.

I was trying to have a stage for every character, and a song for every stage. This gets hard when you let your roster grow really big..

What Mew said.

Here are a few that have worked out pretty well for me though:

Evil Ken by Reu/Evil Ken Breakout stage by rugal2/"Taking on the Shagohod" from MGS3
Guile/Airport (Custom Guile stage) by Mr. 47/SF2 Guile Theme (R.A.H. mix) from OCremix
Sagat/Temple of the Tiger stage by Scar/"Razorback" by Juno Reactor
Isabeau by EX-Infernis/Requiem of the Damned stage by Syn/"Otherworld" (Jecht battle theme) from Final Fantasy X
Aeris by TGM/FF7 Aeris Church by PotS/FF7 Battle Theme - Piano Version from FF7 Advent Children (Tifa vs. Loz fight)
Nineball-Seraph/Mars Fleet stage by ss5ace/"Alien Attack" from Macross (fitting since the SDF-1 is in the background!)
Reiko Hikari by Kamek/Reiko's Stage by VinceJ/"I Wish" by Infected Mushroom
The Flash/Grand Prix stage by Andre #2/"Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry
