HELLO HUMBLE MEMBERS OF IMT, welcome to the first installment of SargentMugen's MUGEN Reviews! Today we have a home favorite! Evil Homer by Warner. Let's start shall we?

Spriting
Excellent as always. Makes me so jealous that Warner can make these beautiful sprites. Reminds me of the time when I was on his website CRAVING the Big Chicken to be released early and he said he'd release it on Thanksgiving. Time flys. *sigh*

Gameplay
If you like Reu's work, you'll love this because guess what? IT'S THE EXACT SAME THING! , that's not saying a bad thing though. I love Reu's work. But it's just like Evil Ken except a sprite swap, so yeah. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm gonna drop it down to 3 1/2 just for that cause I'm so friggin' evil!

Originality
It's Evil Homer that one guy briefly mentioned in a Simpsons episode converted into a MUGEN character that's just a sprite swap of Evil Ken by Reu. Personally, I think making a MUGEN character outta da guy is kinda overdoing it and it isn't exactly what i call "original." Maybe I'm being harsh, but......

Same as Evil Ken. Hadouken, shoryuken, and all that other jap crap. But this time, Evil Homer style! For example, Evil Homer will burp out a hadouken or do any other move in some crude manner.

Spanish Homer. What more could you ask? The Simpsons are awesome! Download JudgeSpear's English soundpack to hear Homer's lovable English voice! Though sometimes annoying, (especially after playing with it for a while) you'll probably end up liking it the first time around.

Value
Is it rare? NOT AT ALL! Is it cool? YUPPERS! It's for Simpsons fans all alike! Especially for those big ones! You'll love Evil Homer and his several sprites of ingenius!

Overall
Evil Homer may not be the best, or original, but he's pretty playable, pretty fun to play with, but may have it's downsides such as the constant WOO-HOOs and what not. There are also some hilarious intros/outros such as Homer getting possessed by a demon and Evil Homer turning into Hellboy is pretty frickin' hysterical which will make the average MUGENite want to play with him and code with him more. But yet, it may be a bit overdone, and it may be just a swap of sprites, Evil Homer is pretty cool to play with. Overall rating is.....*** stars!
