BAD VIRUS NEED HELP BAD!

somehow i got this bad virus my cpu only works for 5 to 6 mins before freezing i really need a free program that can get rid of viruses and spyware and i dont have money to afford a program need help PLZ!

You probably got it from Galbadia Hotel  Don't go there anymore. I don't really know any programs btw :/

see told u man g hotel is a bad site though u could have gotten it from anywhere. Anyways like i told dr. Feelgood. Go to download.com and get this free program called avast and get this other program called malwarebytes (type malwarebyetes into the search bar). Run malwarebytes first as it doesnt require reboot. Then run avast (make sure u get your free id key from the site) and go from there. U also might want to look into getting windows defender from microsoft.com as it has a few neat features such as once that control what startups and can actually get your comp to startup faster if you diable some things u dont want to start up right away. But anyways good luck

At leats you get 5 mins before it freezes. Mine would freeze a minute after I started it so it wouldnt let me run a virus scan, not even on safe mode. From my point of view, looks like you either got safe mode, or reformat your computer. I have said this about 5 times and I will say it again. BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES. You never know when you will get a virus. You dont wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, brush your teeth and say "hey im getting a virus today!" so always be ready and back up your files, cause trust me. You will regret it if you dont.

try avira its like avast
and also ccleaner
and also advanced windows cleaner v2 these are great programs
how about system restore to an earlier time can u do that?
also get WOT as an add on for mozilla its quite reliable

Thank u both for the help but the virus is so strong it wont let me system restore and i hope these programs are free.

To BigJ: Thats it, Im downloading VG music from youtube FLVS.

To Nutpatch: Avast or AVG will work for you, Or If its too bad to take out, Reformat your PC like I did with my XP laptop.

Dont u have to have da windows disk to remormat? Cuz i lost mine..

Try hitting F8 before it loads XP to select recent settings. Then get the software. If not if you see F10 for setup in the lower left corner, then use that. You will lose everything but XP should reinstall without the disk.

You'll need a cd version of windows of course...
if you dont have one,
get an iso from a torrent website and then burn it...
since your PC is freezing after 5 minutes,
go to a friends house to do this...

thanx but The virus is mockin me.... although my cpu has got better in some aspects it loads up slower then ever an my internet sound does not work for some reason like itunes and windows media players sound works but not youtube or anything...

The sound works just not for the internet i think all flash related sounds dont work like youtube, google video, ect..... Plus im not sure wat trouble shooting means.

I would try to get this fixed right away, this sounds like what happend to my computer, it would freeze up if I was on anything, like Limewire or youtube, then it just started freezing for no reson, then it wouldnt even start up!

I remembered I had a Virus that was so freakin bad that the windows wouldn't appear on my desktop then it would freeze seconds later.I even went into safe mode did a full virus scan,disk defragementing,chkdsk and disk cleaner and the freakin problem was STILL there.I had no other alternative but to reinstall my Windows XP.Nutpatch you may have to do the same.If you hadn't backed up your files or if you can't then that's too bad.You got no other choice.It's either bye to your computer or just reinstalling and regaining your lost files even though it'll take some time.

I hope you find a way to kill that virus but if you can't then you HAVE to reinstall your windows if there's no other way around it.

whatever you do do not get ultimate antivirus it gives you one and it keeps popping up and overlaps everything so you have a big thing in the middle of your screen thankfully i got a windows update that deleted any malicious programs and now its gone woohoo hope yours gets better
