Actually looks rather nice, I suggest one thing though.

Make multiple character slot sizes available. I get keeping 56 slots for the original character list, but have other optional sizes as well. After all, this is M.U.G.E.N.

:) hi ,well use this template for the select screen ,the coords on sff file must be    x: 27  y: 125

just like this or this jajaja

is an example ,use those portraits it if you want (of course the last one is my unfinish char mvc2_barney_the_evil_purplesaur)
tomorrow ill post the diagonal letters and new images of the motif
Can you make the template in gif or pcx form.

:D hi ,the letters that i used for the images are rips of all names for the 56 chars on mvc2 game ,not all letters are in the game so i edited some of them like Q ,soon i upload them :)


cool  ;D  can't wait for it. it's about time somone made a screenpack that is close to the original game.

You might want to ask kong for the versus screen vortex rips, though I don't know if hes busy, or even wants to do it. If you get the rips and need help getting the images ready (it'll be a LOT of images) I can help you with it. Keeping close to zero color loss, animating it, etc. If you want of course.

Also very nice attempt at making this screenpack, best of luck!

^^You can do it two ways, depending on the program you're using. You can do two things:
1) Simply go under Image>Image Size Then enter the width and height that you want, i.e. 320X240.

2) open up a new image thats 320x240. Then open up the image you want to resize and paste it into the blank 320x240 image. Next you click Edit>Free Transform and match the bigger image to the 320x240 window.Then you're done.
If you want you can send me the images through pm and I can resize them for you and send them back in PCX form. :thumbsup:

I think I said that, if you want, I could make the hitsparks for you using Kongs rips. Sorry my spanish sucks, I only took two years haha.

If you get bad color when you resized the image to 320x240, then you have to split the image in half and animate both halves. You'll lose less color this way. As for the menu. You must resize the image using the same method. Don't use filters on it, as it will look ugly. In photoshop, use Image>Indexed colors>Local Adaptive. You'll keep most, if not all the colors, and thats it. You reminded me that I need to make an update to the screenpack, haha.
