nothing really change, just slimmer and a built in camera which is .3 mega pixel nothing to worry about cuz it looks like just nintendo DS lite, if you have DSL then you should stick to it, dont waste money, nothing really change, maybe i will get this one too when it came cheap here at philippines and when i find my decent new school.. and one reason im going to get this cuz my DSL hinge' is crack up and i need to replace it...

looks good...it will be like the SP Gameboy advance that had a different format with a few upgrades(bigger screens,camera...)
i don't have the original,and now i don't have a reason to buy one with this one coming out soon i guess...

My tablet PC can do the same things and more.

I still think I'll get one to go with my old bulky ds and my two ds lites.

(i'm just gonna wait till more colors come out since my dsl's are silver and green, and i really don't like the white and black colors

)

i can live with Blue or White colors black is necessary cuz i have Onyx blac

My silver one has a crack on it from overuse. (due to me using it a lot of the course of finals week last school year)

I'm about to replace it with a red case though.

well the upper red case is not so sturdy... and openning my or your DS is a bit risky...
and lending your DS to a friend which she/he never played DS before is more extremely risky like myself... i lent my DS to a classmate of mine and he plays rash and not cool.... extremely non gamer...

Two downsides to the DSi

1) No GBA Slot: bye bye Gba games, and don't expect to be able to play Guitar Hero on Tour.

2) Weaker battery life than the DS or DS Lite.

Yeah pretty much. The thing about the GBA slot though....there's still like the r4 and other such flash carts

SD Card slot. Which will probably lead to some homebrews.

Its for the every little 6 year old who wants everything now, really. I have seen cell phones with a 3MP camera or even higher!

As for the other complainers, simply don't buy the damn thing. This is for those people that like to have media centers on their handheld game systems. I hate when people complain about the stupidest ish.

i cant afford every "hot thing" on the market the majority of the people dont think its necessary to have media centers in every god damn thing now a days and u dont even know me so dont make an assumptions that i own every thing
