getting two of the same char... to work!!!

ok I got saber by "kuri" and I reprogramed it... kinda and now I want to put in another saber by "kuri" in the same profile but the other I want to rename it dark saber and use another pallete for just that one aka the one I reprogramed

I AM NOT IN ANYWAY PLANNING TO SAY THAT I CREATED THE CHAR OR PLANNING ON TAKING CREDIT FOR KURI'S WORK I JUST WANT TO HAVE TWO CHARS WITH THERE OWN SEPRATE PALLETES LIKE A GOOD AND EVIL VERSIONS

 [-O< please help me!!!!

you can use 2 .def on the same char...when you put it on the  select def. put it like these.....folder/nameofthechar.def

nope not what I eant dude I meant this basically

folder/nameofthechar.def
folder/nameofthechar.def

the same chars as in "clones" except one using seprate palletes and the other using a seperate pallete...

as in I'm trying to reprogram it to have a dark pallete version and a light pallete version

did that help explain it better  :-??

Pick one, rename the def file, rename the folder to match. Change the pal files as you wish.

If you want to do for example palette 1-6 be one version and palette 7-12, you would need to use PalNo and set a variable, most likely. Then you would have to go and use that variable wherever the changes occur.

Pick one, rename the def file, rename the folder to match. Change the pal files as you wish.
