Sprite editing question.
« on: September 21, 2008, 09:24:16 AM »
Hello again, I was wondering what I would need (programs or whatever) to start editing sprites.

I would love to sprite edit, but I would first want to know what I would need to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The programs won't make you a better spriter. You can do sprites with Paint if you wanted, I suggest you use the one you are most familiar with.

Well the free ones are: Gimp and Paint, and the pricey ones are: CS3 and PSP from what Mega-Force-Power said. Paint is very basic. Gimp is like photoshop but has little differences but is great for being a free program. CS3 and PSP are mostly geared towards to professionals.

You can grab Gimp from:
