and it doesnt quite look like his costume, why the white in the palette?

Nice start. I have some comment for this:

The pistol needs to be shaded. It looks like it was hand-drawn. Also, I noticed the colors of his uniform was bright. It needs to be darkened. Lastly, when James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes took the role of Captain America, he was much less muscular than the original Captain America.

uhh, the light gray was sippose to be black, but the pallete keeps getting messed up, and mabe the gunshot will be strong punch. Also I can't make his costune too shiny, just shiny enough!

Personally Id save the gunshot for a special, and I would add a holster and pouches on the sides, as well as the stars on the sleeves, and make the gloves smaller.

I agree, Also if you want to know how to do that metalic shine, look at iron man's shade.

Also bucky, being an expert with firearms, wouldnt hold the gun "thug style"

Ok this one is kind of a dilema for me. While this looks like a good start to a WIP, I was shocked and appaled when I found out Barnes was going to carry a gun as Cap. I'm still pi$$ed at marvel for killing of Cap in the first place. So while I can say good start and goold luck on your WIP this is on I probably won't use.

One suggestion, the chest plate is shaped like captain america's original shield so the sprite you draw shouldn't have any underwear on it.

Like Acey said , no underwear , the triangle shaped chest plate . As alex & Mew mentioned the stars on his shoulder & gun holders . I have to add it looks like he has black above his gloves & his lower body .

Like jcmc I hate Buckey & the fact cap uses guns is wrong . They should have never killed cap . But , Marvel did make the character .  So if you like him , you should make him for mugen .

He's a pretty easy edit . Take your time & make him right

Indeed he did. Steve Rogers did use guns as Captian America in WWII.

Since when was ther a retcon that Rogers used a gun in WW2??

I used to collect Invaders as a kid, and never saw Rogers with a gun? Maybe in Ultimate Version, or in the serial but not in any comics I had.

I mean, if you've read the books, then I don't doubt your word at all, as I haven't read them from that far back.

I think you may be thinking of the 1940's movie serials where cap used a gun, and no sheild, or maybe Batman who used a gun in the early issues of Detective Comics.

This is the only time that Cap used a gun according to my sources, but i think to say he used a gun "all the time" is incorrect. Batman used a gun more in comics than cap did, but yet the character is not considered a gun monger, and deplores them. I gotta say Cap evolved pretty much the same way. Hence the disapproval over Bucky carrying the gun.

Wow!! I guess us skeptics are proven wrong about the original Captain America never having used a single firearm. I was thinking that Captain America never ever used a gun, but that reliable source proved otherwise.

But I digress. How is the progress of the current Captain America?

interesting that both shots of cap with a gun, are coming down on chutes, or landing. Maybe cap believed in guns while in the air? 

I dont know that many of these stories would be cannon anymore though. I mean look at the racist propaganda, and bad demeaning stereo types in these issues.
