Your most anticipated Marvel release
« on: September 04, 2008, 04:56:48 PM »
Just for fun, I tried to pick ones I expect to see in the next year or so, and Sorry to Apoc for not including Punisher, but based on its popularity I think it would be a no brainer that he would win so I'm giving the rest a chance  :D

I would have voted for Emma Frost by Eclipse and XFields, but that wasn't on the list, so instead of going with other, I went with Blackcat.

In this past week, I just read #1-49 of punisher max, so you can tell who I'm ready for.

punisher ftw in 09!!!!

Since Punisher isn't in this, I had to go with Wolvenom (even though he technically isn't an "official" Marvel character). After that would be Morph, Rhino, and Ms Marvel, in that order.

I'm looking forward to all of them (especially Ms Marvel  :P) but Sentry and Black Cat are definitely top of my list, I love those characters.

;) Totally understandable. Funny how some votes are still leaking.  ( :w00t: You guys rock!)

Anyways I voted other because my eyes are on Excursion's Galactus but man is that a tuff decision on things... If "other" weren't an option, i'd probably say it would have to be a "fatal 4way" with Wolvenom, McGargan Venom, Scarlet Spider, and Electro.

They all have to battle in my Mugen  ;D Winner takes all!

I voted option not listed. Besides Apoc's Punisher..I am really looking foreward to Acey's Captain America. Especailly with the optional Ultimate & WWII pallettes. Beyond that I would say Electro, Havok & (I'm hoping it's done within a year) Mystique by the Art.

I can't speak for everybody, but I guess for me Wolvenom has me excited because it's a "what if" character. He's almost a clean slate, so it'll be fun to see how this character develops. The other characters mentioned, while having potential for greatness, all have very concrete backgrounds and abilities. We'll be expecting certain things from them, and will be disappointed if they're not there or aren't implemented successfully. Not so with Wolvenom. We know Logan, and we know the Venom symbiote, but how do they work together? We're just going to have to see....

Or maybe it's just the fact everybody loves Wolverine, and everybody loves Venom.... The fact that DT's sprites are totally bad@$$ doesn't hurt either!

that's good reasoning

It's kind of the reason why I wanted to make him . Liked the way I made the " ears " & mouth look  ;*))

Like I said in my thread . This character is really for all of you . Medieval  Spawn is kind of a selfish project because he's one of my favs . But , Wolvenom is more about everyone . I am trying to use alot of suggestions for moves . So when he's released people can be like " hey I suggested that & DT brought it to life " Of course everyone has thrown so many ideas at me , unfortunately I won't be able to use them all . But I am trying pretty hard to sprite things everyone will enjoy from your ideas .
