i would pick snake myself but snake usually gets played and dose exactly what's been written for him by the bad guys, and some times he actually survives cus they want him to be alive so they could use him in some kind of a plan they have.
which means that he is stupid enough to get fooled every time and the bad guys are even more stupid cus he kills them at the end after they keep him a live.

this always happen in mgs actually, so luck is mostly on snake's side just like james bond.
