Beast Heroes: Infinity Concept

This screenpack is for those that want an almost perfect game. This is a project thats been taking me a while to get started on. Why am I concepting you might be asking. well I tried to make the screenpack straight on the PC with out a firm idea and failed. Lol

Intro- Will be concepted in detail later but will consist of animations displaying and introducing a char as played in the game in the background with a close up anime pic of the char displaying their name as well in the foreground.

Mode Select-


This select screen will be customizable by all mugen users.
As you can see it has a helper character like bandais fighters (DBZ, Naruto, Bleach).
This character will be a free part of the screenpack where anyone can put their favorite character. (You allow to release you own helpers if you like).
Customizing the character though also means customizing:

-Character phrases (and be reasonable-Ryu isn't going to say that hes going to destroy the earth).
-Character Logos (In the giant bubble next to the text box)
-Animated BG (This can be anything but I prefer character animations)
-Snow Effect FG (Floating Sakura petals it dont matter)

Its okay to tell me what you thing so far, ask question, or give me good ideas to make this even better.
Next Ill be drawing the Hero Select Screen Concept...
...But being their is a lot of chars I want to use I need to do some calculating.

Also here is what i said this pack was for in a different forum, just to explain why Im making my own....

Yeah, I'll most likely need some custom pics. Im not sure how to do this though because I want sweet custom pics but I want to add a lot of different characters. This screenpack was meant to be most professional screenpack. And what I mean is fixed chars as well.

no more having 20 Ryus in a screenpack (All you need to do is pic the best sprites and have a costume change style sff and command change.)
no more bugs
no more multi styles (I want Ryu GGX)
no more cheapness

every character gets a GGX style moves to fix the cheapness. (So if you miss you lose your super bar)
every character gets an intro and ending
every character has a story feel (RPG style text boxes and pics for char. vs. a specific char.)
every stage has some sort of super jump.
every char has some sort of midnight bliss
Use shinra codes (combo camera, etc.)
if there is room in the select have stage select fonts.
full size select pics must see head to toe the character if not I'll draw that character as best I can.

I plan on also releasing locked pics using KFM and setting up an unlock system using the endings and Winrar passwords. I hope that I can get the creators permissions though because I have ton upon tons of great chars to use.

so in other words this is really just a really really insanely difficult screenpack dezine. I mean just the animated main menu is gonna be nuts, animated char at the menu that talks (u mean like goku does when playing budokai)

all I have to say is thats just plain nuts and good luck all though I'm guessing that u will probaly quiet in like 2 week, 3 at most...

but I will try to help u but all I can do is make char portraits for the select screen and vs screen cant make animated stuff (I DON'T KNOW HOW)

so ya good luck, may the force be with u and if I can do something, I guess PM me then

Actually I know that the character helpers would be had animated. I wasn't going to animate them though I thought about it. Its actually going to be a stationary picture that I can cut from my huge collection of wallpapers (maybe a simple blinking animation...nah!).

Anyways the character will not actually talk just have text displayed as you select the mode.
The text can what until Im done do the Icons for the select font because it would have to be attached to that. As for the sounds, Im actually going to have them make a sound while selecting your options. Something I can take right out of that chars sound file. Remember not all RPGs had Text Speech like they do now.

...ahhhh. Ancient passtimes.

Yes, it will be tough for 1 person but its really a bunch of simple small stuff.

I suggest you talk to SyN, he could probably help you out on how to get the most out of mugen and SPs. The guy does things in mugen that noone else does. If anyone IMO can tell you if your ideas can work, it could be him.

If I get stuck I'll look into contacting well known creators like Syn. I don't think the Main Menu is to much of a problem, its getting the hundreds of characters and stages I want to use into it especially into the style I want them.

Working on requests...I might list them later, when I can get things straightened out.

You do realize that a screenpack doesn't use any sort of logic selection in it.

I will say it again. sigh...

We need to attach the text from the textbox to the menu's picture font.
It'll be a giant font file sort of if like if you are doing picture fonts for Stage Select.
The only tough part is getting the axis accurate.

I'll attach a list of possible characters that I plan on using...
 ...Its a giant list. Or should I say I plan on at least attempting to convert all characters from multiple universes so that they all have ggx, cvs, or mvc patches so we can all play the type of game we want in the style we want it. But truthfully doing the characters will be the hardest part.

It is an api that can be used to create images on the fly. (command line, C++, C, Java, PHP etc.)

Take a look at some of the examples.

I'll try out that program. I don't really use bitmap though I primarily just photoshop everything
and then gimp it in to a sprite.

My very expensive and hard to find .3mm mechanical pencil just broke so now I have to use a number 2 pencil and I'm not happy. I'm picky when it comes to drawing something and lead pencil draw like crap. but I'll post the next part of this pack as soon as I can if I'm not busy.
It will include what to add to the characters and how I going to do the locked pics.

I also try to make a list of characters that are to be used but there is to many. It's like I might as well give you a list of everything converted for mugen and everything not yet converted for mugen.

If you want to start on characters though go ahead and we'll add them in as we go.
since its easier I say capcom characters first. Just tell hollowboy what the character is and that way he knows what pics to make. I already heard tailban. I would love to see him with Hi res effects like GGX or BBB.
What style would you going to start with on tailban, shibuyah?
