It's about time i reposted some of my stuff. I'm still working on Krillin, but i've also started on something new. Gon, the little dinosaur from a strange magna i've never read and also Tekken 3.





I'm aiming towards making Krillin a six button character. Gon will be a four button character. They will both be in my own custom style.
I'd say they're both around 40%. Gon will be released first because his moves are proving simpler to code.
I've got a pretty set movelist in mind for Krillin with 3 types of kamehameha and solar flare, but I'm open to suggestions for moves for Gon.

Gon's going to murder Krillin! I remember, Gon was my favorite character in Tekken 3 since Kazuya wasn't in the game. I also read a few Gon manga's. . Gon is awesome! Good luck on the wip bro!

Thanks man. I finished editing sounds last week, i think you guys will like them. Right now I'm editing some of his sprites and tweaking his basic attacks. Pretty much all that's left is to code two special moves i plan on adding, plus level 1 and level 3 hyper moves, but I'm lazy and university keeps gettin in the way.

I was unable to get rips of Gon from Tekken 3, and I've seen previews for a CG movie, but Gon has traditionally been a silent character. I didn't think this would translate very well to mugen, so i made some custom sounds with soundforge.

Yeah, I was gonna comment about Gon being silent, but I guess you've got the sounds all figured up.

Looking good, your own custom style, huh? Making a "Manga Mash" game or something? I think it would be cool, if you made a manga fighting game with your own style, starting with this Gon and Krillin, but whatever you want. Good luck on both WIPs dude

funny you should mention that, I've been wanting to do a version of Bonk, possibly using the same system as the KSS chars. I even included him in POTS charamari.

I'm using knuckle Joe as a base because I've been working on those vulcan jab sprites, but all his characters are open source and he pretty much sets up a whole system of how KSS char's required sprites and velocities are supposed to be. Jango's Bonkers and Leo were made using the same system, although i think Bonkers was remade from an unfinished version.

I have an idea (it might suck though) Like Dedede's Waddle Dee Army from SSBB maybe you could do a similar move including other Waddle Dee's and Waddle Doo's like Strider's Hyper with the Mech Tiger thingamajigs?
