why do people play mugen for like 2 days and be done with it

because they can't find characters , ive seen many people say I hate this game the only person I have is a couple of cheap dbz characters and some weird guy named kfm

that and when they get mad and lose they say this game sucks

the thing i really hate in mugen is:

1. cheap chars
2. all dbz chars except the one made by xande
3. changing portraits [ when changing screenpacks ]
4. hentai chars [ cheap attacks ]
5. a character became black when get hit or attack...

Different people have different reasons for not playing MUGEN.

I personally don't play because I become overwhelmed with all the stuff I have to edit and fix.

I really like stages so I have hundreds of stages... but I also need music and each stage has to have a unique song... but I'm also short on space.  Soooo... I have to go around looking for MIDI files.  Using MIDI files is not a problem for me.  The problem is the fact that MUGEN doesn't always play MIDI files all that well... and the number of MIDI files out there on the Internet is limited to the number of good sequencers.  So that plus all the editing I have to do to stages so that they play right means I have to play MUGEN in short bursts here and there.  I can't play for too long or I'll wear myself out.

But when I play, I really like just sitting back and watching the AI play against itself.  There's where I get the most fun in MUGEN.

maybe because mugen has the same modes for every game u make, no story , and unbalanced characters. Man u can only play a fighting game so much before u get bored of it and mugen is no exception, the only reason i still play mugen is beacause i got a lil bro that is one year younger then me, and is hella good at mugen so i have good competition. But if it was not for that i dont think i would still be playing. I just got back on mugen a couple days ago after a long break off of it.

Your pretty lucky.My 2 older bros. and my younger sister suck at mugen and my sister always want to team up with me rather than fight me.My friend LJ sucks at it too and always picks the same character over and over again Ky Kiske is all he ever uses.The only person that gives me good competition and that picks different chars is Rodney since he's really good in fighting games like me.So we have fun fighting.

If mugen online was possible it be more fun.But then welcome to lagsville.

Oh another thing I hate about mugen is lagging and long loading or unexpected errors or crashing.Mugen's not that great really.

hell yeah me too, but its more fun when i play with my class mates, they just take the credits from me, im the one whos going to edit screen packs then they just going to copy it, darn them....
