dude, sludge uses good sounds, stop being such a god damn snob!

Ouch… I apologize for voicing my opinion  :-[

Sorry, I really didn’t mean to offend or sound snobbish, as I said I really like Sludges creations…

gentlemen ,there's no reason to jump on phr0g.. I set the attack sound's to however they are in the VS series games... However i do use their mvc2 voice's which are a little more quieter than the sound's that were in mvc, this is probably what phr0g is noticing.

not really acey, I'm just frustrated by some folks who're posting that kind of stuff..in this case, sludge does some pretty good stuff and I could SWEAR his audio is better than what some people say it is, and I was defending what I thought was his audio quality

Sorry guys seems this was a mistake on my part, clearly there is nothing wrong with Sludges sounds!

I checked a couple of youtube vids with Sludges creations (servebot, sabertooth) and the sounds I hear in those vids when his characters attacks hits the opponent is different from the ones I hear when I play them?

I’m a noob on this but could it be that my mugen somehow can’t play certain sounds and that I therefore get some kind of default hit sounds?

Sorry for making an butt out myself again, I really do enjoy all of your creations Sludge…

Hmm…
I just did a quick test and it seems that I do in fact get the “default” (or at least the same as the ones kung fu man uses) hit sounds.

I installed a clean version of mugen without any screenpack or extra chars and the hit sounds that kung fu man has sounds exactly like the ones I here when playing sludges creations, really strange?

Critique/Question: How come all of your character has such boring/dull hit sound effects, when you play them and they execute good looking combos it really doesn’t give of the right impact? I really think that this hurts your creations a lot, which is a shame since they are so skilfully made and excellent to play ;)

uhh i actually think hes right i said the same thing a while back

Exactly, some mugen characters so have their own hitsparks but on the whole creators make characters who use the hitsparks in a screen pack, that way each of your characters will have the same sparks according to the screen pack you use.

So in short, if you don't prefer the sounds and sparks, get a screen pack with better fight FX.
