Invisible Helper, Non-invisible helper shadow

how can i make a helper that's invisible but still use its shadow as visible?

sounds tricky,

One solution is to make the shadows themselves as sprites and them program as usual, make sure the animation has A2 set to all the sprites.

aww man, sounds too tedius. Any other ideas?

Is it possible to use a posset sctrl and include const(size.shadowoffset) as a trigger and make the posset value to control the offset of the shadow?
<----didnt work  :'(


I also tried moving the helper off the screen and using bindtoroot to keep the shadow within the player's reach (and just positioning the shadow in the helper) but then the shadow will appear in different places on different stages....
