The Best Video Game Console on the Market

Again, (this is my opinion, so don't be an idiot) PS3 is only hanging on by a thread, because of the Blu-Ray... mostly all of the exclusives are no longer exclusives and have been made for either the 360 or the Wii... It's just fact... In the end, I think Sony should re-consider what they're doing with the PS3... it's really been shipped more, because it's newer and more popular than the 360...

I am just saying how I don't see how it is hanging by a thread when it has outsold the 360 in world wide this year. It is killing the 360 in Japan, will catch up and surpass the 360 in Europe at current pace and has gained ground in the US. By sometime next year at current pace, it should surpass the 360 in world wide sales. Sony shouldn't re-consider anything when it has done great this year. I in all honesty don't see how all that is considered, hanging on by a thread. I agree, one huge reason why Sony is even in this, is its Blu-Ray. Anyone who says otherwise is foolish. With ALL that said right now, the 360 due to its software, is still the system to buy with the PS3 bursting from behind. The 360 just simply has more titles and that's its main advantage over the PS3.

The Wii....it only has like 4-6 games I would buy right now . It is a good simple system for just about anyone. It just doesn't have enough titles IMO for me to justify a buy.

I really don't see how the wii can compete with ps3 & 360. I mean it's 'games' and I use that term very loosely,  look absolutely awful in comparison. Yeah, I know graphics aren't everything, but you wouldn't think they were the same generation of consoles.

The only reason why people bash the Wii is because they're just extremely butthurt because Nintendo doesn't pay attention to them anymore. Nintendo wants to make money like the other companies, so they target the market that pays. The "casuals". They'll buy anything Nintendo buys because it's fun, compared to the same boring formula that Microsoft and Sony are pumping out for their systems. The so called "hardcore" gamers don't even matter anymore because they can't even come up with a set definition for themselves, thus their arguments are just moot and makes them all look like idiots for complaining about more people gaming.

get out of this topic now. this is to discuss which console is better. the only one butthurt around here seems to be you. oh and the wii does suck. I hooked it up to my 46" hdtv and it is horrible. its only for casual players who don't know better.

I think the ps3 is the best console. not only does it play games but also plays blu-ray. when you factor that in the 360 and definitely the wii seem overpriced. the 360 does have better games so far but overall the ps3 wins. oh and mgs4 is not coming to 360 anytime soon.

too bad there is no racing game to take advantage of those specs besides GRID. the pc would be the best if it had more games. of exclusive ps3 games don't come out for it.

yeah 360 so far has better games but the ps3 wins overall. free online play, blu-ray player and wi-fi built in. no having to buy 100 dollar usb adapter.

This is the Concept PS3 specs but that does not change anything related power wise in current PS3 models other than a smaller processor chip in the 40GB and 80GB models, see specs here.

Its worth it for me bacause blu-ray players still cost $399 where you can buy the new 80GB out this September for $399 in USA. Europeans are gonna have a 160GB PS3 coming out also.

PS3 has a better motion sensor and is also wireless  and the whole point for a game console for me is you relax and play, wii makes you jump around like a spaz which you can do outside and its more safer.

Uh the Wii has perfect motion sensing . I still can't get over the responsiveness of the controller . PS3 motion sensing is terrible .

I also agree the wii is a great party system .  I have the 360 for graphics , though . Since the wii is not up to par on that level . But it is very fun to play . I also have the PS3 so I have something to rest my feet on when I play the 360 or the wii .

In my opinion the greatest system is the regular Xbox . Not for any of the actual games . Just due to the fact that you can mod it & put every emulator under the sun on it . So in a sense the Xbox is the NES , SNES , Genesis , Master System , Mame , Kawa , Colecovision etc ..... & it also runs mugen
